Last year's Detroit devival was my sons intro to the church and none
of
us really got up and said much about "Bob". The music was top notch
and
my son was drunk enough not to care about the word of "Bob" anyway.
But
this year is different. As my son was 21 last year, his sister is 16
this year. Son is staying behind this time and I'll be introducing
his
younger sister!

Now I'm not saying she's an angel, but her mom was a *good* x-tian
and
kept our daughter immersed in reading and doing arts and crafts type
stuff. They didn't have a TV and only had internet for the last year
she
lived there. The only TV she saw was Nicolodeon here at my place on
ever-other weekend and lost that interest a couple of years back.

Mixed in with all the "Bob" sounds in the Rugrats cartoons she had
seen
the various x-day and devival videos Stang has oozed out over the
years
and was telling my mother about wanting to go to X-Day when she
turned 18, when she was 13!

This years devival is a Promenade of sorts for the newest uberfemme
of
the CoSG! The guys will be drooling and the girls will be whispering.
Just remember, she's got one HELLA big daddy!

Man I sure wish we could go to that, but we have a really full plate
on Thanksgiving (pun intended) here in Cleveland. Also I am busting
ass trying to finish some shit before Xmas. Princess Wei retires then
and I am wondering f I'll ever get anything productive done again once
that happens. If our weekends are any indicator we'll just be
wallowing in slack 24-7.

On the other hand we'll be way more free to travel by car and do more
hanging out. We want to do a lot of long cross-country trips. Philo
has him a great camper-truck that I am coveting majorly for such
purposes.

Tell those masked monsters from out of space howdy for us, and
congratulations to your daughter because I'm sure she'll have a great
time.

Man I wish I could make it to that show. Instead I will evidently be
in Ashtabula, OH repairing the Lonesome Cowboy Dave Computer Lab.
