"Dublin security chiefs said it was foolish for the Slovaks to hide
bomb parts in the luggage of unwitting passengers under any
circumstances."

How true that is, even today.

A major north Dublin intersection was shut down and neighboring
apartment buildings were evacuated as a precaution while Irish Army
experts inspected the explosive.

for 3 oz of stable explosive...

why the huge overreaction? the whole anti-terrorist thing is a HUGE
over reaction - like theater really...

Well, here in California today, they shut down a whole airport because some
Mexican had six Gatorade bottals full of honey he raised in his suitcase.
And it tested posative for TNT. And when they opaned the bottals, the fumes
made peopal sick.

It was pure honey, and now aftar evarybody calmed down, they theorized that
the TNT test was fooled by the traces of smoak the beekeepars use to keep
the hives undar control. Still can't explain what made the luggage
searchars puke. Must have been stinky honey all right.

No honey, no money, as they say in the pr0n bidness.

For 3 oz of explosive that was CLAIMED to be stable by foreign
authorities who had ALREADY demonstrated gross incompetence regarding
the whole affair.

Right! A fucking huge overreaction, indeed.

Sheesh.
