Jacob Betts
I found a video called "This Is England." After watching a few clips,
I knew that it was about Skinheads. I never knew what a Skinhead
really was. I only knew how the news-media unflatteringly described
them. But, after watching the film, I realized that I had found
exactly what was missing. I was meant to be a Skinhead. So, off I went
to get my head shaved for the first time at a number 4. Yet, it didn't
feel entirely free. It still felt "long haired," so I got it cut to a
number 1.
After combining my shaved-head with the preferred Skinhead dress-
scheme, I realized that I had become a Skinhead. No matter how hard I
tried, I could no longer steer myself away from my duty to stand up
for what I believed in. Yes, I believe in an English England. Simple
as that. Look at me three months ago compared to today. I am a Skin
and will be a Skin, from now on. What has happened to me? I am no
longer going it alone. I am connected to like-minded people.
Every time I see a guy with a shaved head, I know that I have a
comrade. It helps me to stay strong. We are constantly being called
"trouble makers" and "thugs," but it is only a ploy to try to
discourage us from taking back what is rightfully ours. Our country.
It is not wrong to take back what is rightfully yours. I am young,
but smart. Many may not take me seriously, but I want what is best
for my country and I am determined to get it. Not violent, but in
self-defense mode.
To me, being a skinhead means pride. Loving my country. My people.
My blood. It means unity among good, honest, working men. It is
about survival of the noblest people that ever walked the earth. It
means preserving our heritage and assuring our future. It means
action, with hair cropped close and clothes comfortable, able to take
on any task, be it scaling a building or defending a street. Being a
Skinhad means kinship. A pure-blooded, stout-hearted brotherhood.
Feel free to laugh at the long-haired way I used to look. Even I
would. Then, consider the new me. One not silenced by intruders,
Communists and perverts. One who stands his ground, until the very
end. Mine is not just a visual difference, but a life-changing
experience. It is going to take bravery and hard work to measure up
to being a Skinhead, but I am a "Skin-for-Life." I step into the
ranks of those who have fought before and are marching now, until
victory is ours.

If seeing this is england made you think it's about "keeping england
english" and other BNP bullshit, then you totally missed the point of the
film.
You're a bonehead, not a skinhead.

And what about the black skinhead in the film?
Would you befriend him, like the TRUE skins did?
Or would you beat the crap out of him like the psychopath did near the end?
