Haven't heard a thing about it but when I first read yer post, the images I
got about Depp going for Dando on a table got my monitor screen fogged up.

Evan's such a slut (of the heterosexual variety) that i find this really
hard to believe-- i've never heard any rumors to the contrary. or does
"going at it" mean fighting and my mind's just in the gutter...?

Say it isn't so!! I'm a fan of both guys and hope it was just a fight.
Wasn't Johnny in the Lemonheads' "It's a Shame About Ray" video??

Are you saying you can't be a fan of someone who is gay? Or are you
another poor soul who actually thinks they will some day have a chance
with their adored star, so they better not be gay or else there goes
their great fuck?

Move over in that gutter Kerry, I thought "going at it" meant the same
thing you did.

Just to clear things up since I made the original post, "going at it does
indeed mean activities of a sexual kind.

It's my understanding from several people ( I really can't claim to be a
Lemonheads fan, so I don't follow information about them) that Evan is a raging
bisexual.

So you're saying, make war, not love? Piss off and take
your 1950s attitudes with you.

Excellent! I'd rather either of them get kissed up than banged up. That
had to be a picturesque scene. :-)

Ahh! This could help explain Evan's really darling cover songs wherein
he never bothers to adjust the genders. I've always liked that about him.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Johnny Depp collects artwork by
serial killers??? Please do tell!

John Waters does. He has a bunch of clown paintings done by John Wayne
Gacy. (Among other serial killer "merchandise"). IIRC, when Depp was
doing "Crybaby," Waters gave him a "Gacy" after Depp expressed his
appreciation for the "scope" of Water's art collection. I don't know if
Depp has gone on to amass his own collection, but Water's is said to be
impressive. (According to Waters-- and this may well be true-- alot of
serial killers are frustrated/unsuccesful artists).

Sincerely,

Jules

I think he and John Waters both own original art by the late unlamented
John Wayne Gacy (as do tons of other people-- Gacy managed to market
quite a bit of stuff during his years on death row), but I don't know if
Depp has anything by anyone else.

I just read an interesting article about Johnny Depp from the recent
book out about Winona Ryder. I haven't got around to reading about
Winona yet. :) Depp did have a Gacy clown portrait but got rid of it
because he thought he was at first helping out financially the victims'
families, but later suspected otherwise. Supposedly Depp lives in
mortal fear of clowns. He also had an irrational fear of John Davidson,
which he got over. Kooky, eh? I love that guy.

he sure was-- and "Big Gay Heart" is about ED's stay at JD's house
formerly owned by some old-time gay actor so "big gay" became the
descriptor for the house and everything else they set eyes on for a while
(or so that's the story). takes on a whole new meaning with this gossip
tidbit, though, doesn't it...?

Quite startling, really. Wasn't Hitler an unsuccessful artist, as well?

NOTE TO SELF: Never, ever antagonize the artistically challenged!!!
