Jesse,

It's time you take your leave of ASG.

Besides your mysoginist treatment of ASG women, both online and in
person, you waste bandwidth.

Look, it's no big deal you can't deal with real women, have a small
penis or can't tell the difference between civil behavior and acting
like a lovesick spoiled child.

You have no social skills, OK. We can all deal with that. But, you
simply can't call women bitches, beat up on them online and expect to
be treated like a human. Sorry.

It is time you crawled back to your own news group or went to ACF,
where they might appriciate you more. Hell, you have a newsgroup of
your very own. Spend some time there.

Because, your ASG posts are going to be killfiled by anyone with
brains. So leave now, and don't let the door hit you on the ass.

We can't stop you from posting, but you won't be getting a response
from anyone here.

Well, I've finally decided that ignorance of all things Jesse/Ron may be
the best way to go. His behaviour is no longer attributable to his poor
social skills, but has become characteristic of mental illness. As a
result, he has to seek help, and I hope he's got someone in his life that
can nudge him in that direction.

As for ASG, he is obviously no longer welcome, and should be ignored from
now on -- email, posting, whatever. This would be appropriate to the
anarchic nature of the group, and as such, Ron should understand and
accept the reasons. He's been given ample warning, but continues to
destroy the social bonds that we, as regulars to the newsgroup, pride
ourselves on. It's more of a preservation of ASG's character that he be
ousted.

If he's intelligent enough, he'll move on without incident. It's sad that
it had to come to this, but the grave he'd been digging for so long was
his own.

Stephen, you were brilliant and had me
laughing for weeks when you disposed of
Frank Miller. And if I ever flame or learn to
flame in the way one's suppose to I hope
I do it with as much style as you do. But,
I don't feel the same about Jesse.

I enjoy most of his postings and always
give them high priority when I download.
Almost as high as Puff Stewards. You can't
deny that the guy is pretty bright. I have
yet to find an unoriginal flame from Jesse.
He is better than that and I always welcome
his opinions on the gossip content.

I just wish he would stop trying to hurt some of
my friends and focus on what he does best..
....his talent with the word....

this is just my 2 million cents worth

while i agree with everything else in your post, i find that i
*really* resent your assumption that ACF is ASG's trashcan.

i wish that people in ASG would just leave ACF out of the discussions.
however, it seems to have *really* gotten under the skin of several
ASG-ers that ACF was formed & that there are people who prefer being
there over being here.

Dahling
Alt.culture.fabulous, (ACF), is a dear little newsgroup, started by two boys and moi, for fun, fantasy, and all things FABulous. Not counting mine, which sometimes dips into the negative
numbers, the I.Q. level is tres divine, and the imagination quotient delightful. I think ACF is mentioned here, in ASG, because we three met here many months ago, and have the trailer park in
common. I am still at #100, but please call before dropping by.

Name a single mentally ill thing that I've done. Perhaps you could start
by showing me a single lie that I've posted about what any of you in ASG
have done, or show me the anonymous 'cards' that I've put on the web then
sent you all scurrying to find, or a single forged post that I've made.

Nope, it was one of YOU that did all that. But I'm the crazy one. Heh.

What bullshit. Name a single social bond that I've destroyed.

And I was deemed mentally ill by yourself just a few months ago.
And I've had a checkup at your urging and two opinions thereafter.
And even after telling the various doctors of your opinion no matter
how oddball I acted I could not convince them I was mentally ill.

Now, if you have documentation or specifics that I can evaluate,
I may change my opinion of Jesse. I did notice he was doggin on
people excessively.

Gladly, unless it's more insightful comments on gossip.

I'm sorry. But I'm just too darn skeptical to allow him
to be condemned based on what I've seen. I was labeled
wacko by most people here a couple of months ago and
Iooking at some of my postings, I can see why I earned that
label. But Jesse hasn't posted equitable drivel.

BTW, Marc thanks for the tip on the "pill". I haven't had a clump 'a hair
fall out in weeks!

I am not referring to anything but the first post I can't find that wanted
Ron to be killfiled. I don't knwo what it is..But don't you think you all
take this stuff a little to seriously? When I was getting flamed I found
it funny. It is only a computer,it is only gossip.

Sorry, onica. I felt the same way until I requested the nitty
gritty via email and received thorough explanations from
trustworthy ASG posters. This is more than just flaming. You
may want to do the same. I'm sure you'll feel differently.

Wait a sec - you went to THREE separate shrinks just because Marc told you to?
You don't consider *that* the act of a mentally unstable person?!? (Not that
I disagree with Marc's assertion that you need help.)

Just tell 'em to do a few Dejanews searches on you. That should convince
them. Or start talking about Magaldi.

Please excuse my delving into the meta...but I can't help myself.

A few days ago I use IRC after not having done so for a few months.
What gets me is how blunt people are about what they're looking for.

sex, age

is the first thing they ask. This got me to thinking that maybe Usenet
would be more appealing for women than Usenet. (Although apparently
IRC has become far more co-ed than it was a few years ago, which I
find interesting, too.)

Women have and are doing some great things for Usenet culture. A prime
example is the move afoot to moderate news.newusers.questions, being
run by women mostly.

Of course, there are some problems. Soc.women needs to be moderated
bigtime...
