corsets and corselettes from the early 1900's, thought they also
stock the ribbon corset advertised in the Amazon Vinegar & Pickling
Works Drygoods catalog. They seem to tacitly admit that most of
their creations are not for ordinary use but don't speak about the
subject, and seem equally prepared to sell to men and women. Prices
in 1987 were about $50 US for a stock corset, $80-$100 US for custom
corsets. I obtained a catalog for the price of a SASE with an IRC.
They claim may be able to find a corset of the desired size and
style from their selection of old and discontinued stock if supplied
with a photograph or illustration of your desires.
Abra Creations Very high quality clothing, restrictive wear,
& Designs Ltd. and bondage gear. Lots of bizarre ideas.
(by Latexerama) Long waiting time, reasonable prices.

Sizes, Clothes and Illusion
How to pick clothes... Is it easy ? No ! Don't tell me you think that
is easy even for your male alter ego ? Some of us has a close to perfect
taste, and know EXACTLY what will fit us and not. But most of us, we dream
of that dress we saw at the mall, the one that would look perfect on Marilyn
Monroe... *sigh*
As for perfect bodies... They do exist, but which ones it is depends on your
definition of perfection. And this is not only a subjective matter, it is
also a philosophical problem. So, what can be done is to employ magic... :)
And what might magic be, in our sad and much to realistic days ? Illusion !
So, was we may not fool ourselves, we might just boost our selfesteem by
fooling all the rest... As they say, " You can fool SOME of the people ALL
of the time, and ALL of the people SOME of the time, but you can't fool
ALL of the people ALL of the time. "
So, of to work we go, trying to fool ALL of the people SOME of the time...
The Parts
This text is basically divided into two parts.
The first one is a Clothing Size Guide, adaptions from several sizing guides
in mailorder catalogues and an article by Sandi Horn ( FEMINET ), with some
minor additions by myself.
The second part is an attempt to describe what clothes fit what kinds of
body. Here the article of Sandi Horn was helpful, together with one by
Janis Hillman.
The Clothing Size Guide
There is a lot of different " standards " out there, and for those of us
who shop by mailorder from different countries, the confusion is total. This
text is an attempt to solve SOME of the problems.
What I have done is to " invent " a new measurement scale, consisting of
size numbers from 1 -->. These numbers map APPROXIMATELY to the different
scales in the following table :
Table #1 ( tSizes )

Example Of Usage
In the following table, pick out the Chest-Waist-Hip combination that most
closely resemble your own. There is a rather large margin here, but it is
usually wise to go UP, not DOWN. All measurements are in centimeters. When
you have found "your" line, use the number in the " t " column to pick your
size. Then go back up to table #1 and convert this number to the appropriate
sizing convention for wherever you are to order...
For the sake of precicion, I tried my system on myself after designing it,
and it gave the " correct " result. This is of course no guarantee that
it will work that smooth for you, but I think it will.
Some Comments
Unless you are to pad alot, it is often recomendable to pick one of the
measurements you are unable to change for the " target " one. The hips are
a rather safe bet, since you most certainly can not get them any SMALLER.
Remember : to obtain the PERFECT fit, it is close to mandatory to get the
clothes tailored. Don't expect to get that from these tables... :)
How To Measure
THE CHEST is measured with the tape snugly under the arms and above the cups
of your bra.
THE BUST is measured with the tape around the fullest part of your bra cups
with the tape just snug enough to prevent its sliding down in back.
THE WAIST is measured with the tape at the narrowest part of your waist
(about mid-way) between the top of the hip bone and the lowest
part of the rib cage.
THE HIPS is measured with the tape snuggly around the largest part of your
hips and buttocks.

The Upper Part of a Girl
... is considered very important by many of us, but the art of determining
a bra size is not an easy one to master. So, grabbing some advice from
Ms. Tanya Brown ( of "Tanya Brown's Prosthesis Emporium " ), here are some
tips.
To Determine Your Bra Size
1. Measure your chest under your breasts ( where the bottom band of a bra
normally sits on your chest ).
2. Measure your chest above your breasts and below your armpits.
3. If the difference between the two measurements is two inches or less,
the underbreast measurement ( #1 ) is your bra size. If the difference is
over two inches, you may want to try one size larger for comfort.
4. If the underbreast measurement is an odd number, go to the nearest even
bra size.
To Determine Your Cup Size
A. Bra sizes 32 to 38.
Slender build : A cup
Average build : B cup
Heavier build : C cup
B. Bra sizes 40 to 42.
Average build : B cup
Heavier build : C cup
C. Bra sizes 44 to 46.
Average build : C cup
Heavier build : D to DD cup
" build " = " male build "
Comments
When trying a new size bra, pad the cups with tissue paper until they are
1 / 8 ( 0.32 cm. ) to 1 / 4 ( 0.64 cm. ) inch of the chest. Use this method
with back-hook underwire bras only.
Generally, if the edges of the bra cups are firmly resting against your
chest, they are insufficiently padded.
Dress Size
Using a size chart, like the one in this text or in most mail order
catalogues, you should use the bust, waist and hip measurments to locate
your dress size. You will probably find that there is some deviation in
all such charts, and then remember : these are aproximations. Pick the
largest size, OR pick the size from the LARGEST measurment. The hip is a
good tip. You'll HAVE to squeeze those hips into that dress whatever ELSE
you do.
Use your best judgement, but don't let fantasy carry you off...
Bathing suits are sized the same as dresses.
Blouse Sizes
This does also apply for sweaters.
Blousers are sized by bust measurment, but do no forget your shoulders !
As females tend to have narrower shoulders, you might have to order one
size larger than originally thought.
Skirt Sizes
This does also apply for pants and jeans.
Skirts are sized by waist measurement. Fitted skirts are usually cut for
hips 20.3 - 25.4 cm. larger than the waist. If your hips measure more than
25.4 ( 10 inches ) more than your waist, you will have to use your hip
measurement to select your size.
Lingerie Sizes
BRAS -> Use chest measurement.
PANTIES -> Use hip measurement.
PANTYHOSE -> Use the chart on the package to determine size
requirements.
SLIP,
TEDDIE,
CAMISOLE -> Use bust measurement.
GARTER-BELT,
GIRDLE,
HALF-SLIP -> Use waist measurement.
CORSELETTE,
BODY BRIEFER -> Use bust measurement. Pay special attention to garment
length.
HOSE,
STOCKINGS -> Generally sized by body height.
5'8" or taller use sizes 11 thought 13 large or long.
5'7" and shorter use sizes 8 to 10, average or medium.
What Will Fit Me ?
A rather pretentious title perhaps, but there are some basic guidelines
that can be followed. Again you must remember that this is not an objective
science, and your TASTE matters just as much. If your goal is to pass, it
is often recomendable to go " by the book " though... So, follow this table,
and adjust for taste...

On Hair And How To Loose It
Introductory
This is supposed to be a text on how to do what usually is preferred
UNDONE by many. Although we all loose hair, it is in most cases in the
very place we wish to KEEP it. The head.
This text in treating both cases, discussing your regular hair, how to style
and keep it, the hair you buy and how to treat that, and how to loose the
hair you DON'T want to keep...
Please do remember that I am not a professional hairstylist, so the few
tricks for styling in here is picked from other sources. I've not as of yet
tried them on " for size " myself
I'm not loosing hair, I'm just growing trough it !
First Leg - Your Own Hair ; The One On The Top
Hair is often one of the really big differences between male and female
humans. Althought styles have, in recent years, become such that men have
more choice than before, it is still among the girls the REALLY good looking
hair exist.
But atleast in THIS area, there is no biological difference between us, and
men CAN have goodlooking hair too. Very often men are not really interested
it what's on top of their head, atleast not until it is no longer there...
The main thing about hair, on females OR males, is this fact : The better
treated, the better it is. A healthy hair is a good looking hair. Very
generalized ? Yes, but quite correct. If the only you do to your hair is
run a comb trought it every morning ( or not even that... ), the result
might be perfectly acceptable, but does it look GOOD ??
Washing
To start with, do wash your hair regularly ! How often depends on the hair
and what you are comfortable with. When washing
1) Use a MILD shampoo !
This is always a safe bet. Shampoos that have alot of perfume tend
to be VERY tough on your hair, and using these alot means it will
get very dry very soon. The best thing is of course to let a
hairstylist recomend you a shampoo, one that is suitable for your hair.
Asking for such an advice should be very gender neutral...
And remember : Not all hairstylist are GOOD hairstylist, so if you wish
to get a shampoo that is REALLY suitable : ask for two or more independent
advice !
And remember ! A hairstylist said this to me once, of the Wash'nGo type
shampoos : " Wash - and watch your hair Go ". Stay away from them !
2) Use alot of shampoo.
3) Wash twice.
4) Condition well and rinse THOROUGHLY !
Leftover shampoo in the hair is nono ! As with using a to strong a
shampoo, not rinsing it out dries up the hair. And if your hair is
fat ? Don't dry correcting the problem with strong shampoos and bad
rinses. Ask a doctor or a hairstylist. This is a problem for both males
and females.
5) Pat dry or use a brush and a blow dryer.
6) From time to time, let it get a break from dryers. Let it dry
naturally.
7) Vitamin B !
We all know that vitamins are important, and B is so for hair. Yes, this
is a secundary objective for getting enought of it, but... If one can be
healthy AND have great hair..
Styling
Styling of hair is best accomplished by following the intructions on the
poducts you pick for this use. There are a variety in the marked, and
again : What is said on that bottle applies for both men and women. First
and last rule : Do not use ANY chemicals to OFTEN, to MUCH or to STRONG.
Hairstyles can be done in such a way that it will apply to both males and
females, or that change between the two styles can be made with ease. In
most cases trying to do cutting at home will result in something out of
a horrorflick... Try calling around to find a hairdresser that will do the
job.
For do-it-yourself'ers, try the following :
- Use a hair crimper. It's easy to work and wash out.
- Put setting gel on your hair one day before, to get the best results.
- Crimp the top, shoot your sides back, crimp the sides.
- Give it a good spray, and voila !
There should be no problem washing it out either.
Long Hair
If you are able, and have the patience to save up for long hair, there are
a few points to be made. Long hair is treated much the same way as short, but
do remember that it is long ! Use a hair ribbon or equal when working with
things that is might get caught in. And see a hairstylist regularly to get
the ENDS trimmed, as they tend to get split.
Second Leg : What Money Can Buy; Still On The Top
There are many reasons for buying a wig, but I think a safe guess would be
that 90 % is due to the environment. To have ones own hair grow and styled as
you'd wish is for many but a dream. Wigs offer therefore a good solution.
Most wigs out there is synthetic. Atleast in this field you'll probably get
what you pay for, and a cheap wig may be good for illusion, but if the main
thing is to have it look as real as possible, there is not really any other
solution than to pay. There IS some wigs made of real hair too, but then you
could just as easily buy yourself a new car. These are EXPENCIVE !
Treatment
- To clean, use Xero or Woolite if you do not have any special wig cleaning
product.
- Do not scrub it, just swish it around in cool water.
- Use cool water to rinse.
- Dry it on a doorknob or a pop bottle. Do NOT dry on a wig head, as this will
stretch it !
- When dry, shake it to fluff, brush and it should be as good as new. DON'T
brush when wet, as this will take out any curl.
Wearing
- When putting on, start at the forehead and pull the wig down on your head
as you would a swimming cap.
- Wearing wigs over a long period of time tend to stretch them, so giving
them ( and your head ) a breather after 5 - 6 hours is adviceable.
- The wig should be snug enought to stay in place trought vigorous head
shaking. If it is this tight, but NOT tight enought to creep up your
scalp or give you a headache, it fits.
Storing and misc.
- Store in the original box, on a wig stand or in a drawer.
- When storing, turn it inside out. When re-using, flip out and shake it
out.
- A straight wig may be set into curls, but blow dryers, curling irons or
hot curlers are OUT ! Use setting gel or other non-heat methods. One tip
is to bob the hair by rolling it into small kiss curls and securing with
bobby pins. Then spray with hairspray to hold the curl until you want to
wash it out.
Buying
- Turn the wig inside out, and look for a wide-open space. Loose lattices of
flexible ribbon guarantee a wig will be cool and comfortable. Close mesh
backings mean heat.
- Rule of color ! Hair color must suit eye and skin color ! If you are to
pass, this is important. But to play, just go ahead with whatever color

The Hair You DON'T Want....
Techniques
- - - - -
For most of us, hair is something that we WISH on the top, and HATE everywere
else. There is several techniques to hiding or getting rid of hair, and I've
looked at some below.
- Shaving.
This is by far the easiest and most convenient method I've found. Is will
in most cases provide a smooth and hairfree skin, but will have to be
repeated frequently. This of course depends on your natural speed of
regrowth.
1 ) Use a SHARP blade for shaving. There is no machine out there that
will give that CLOSE, smooth result we are looking for, so get set
to do this the old fashioned way. A shavingknife is still the best
bet, but it is also the most difficult to master. Gillette Sensor
is an exellent alternative. ( No, I'm *not* payed by Gillette ! :)
2 ) Make sure your skin is wet and warm, the shower is a very good place
to do this. But wherever, make sure you have alot of WARM water.
3 ) Try using a facial soap instead of your regular shaving cream / foam.
Remember that a regular cream / foam very often has a flagrance too,
one that is NOT associated with females... :)
4 ) Start by shaving WITH the grain. Then resoap, and shave once more,
this time AGAINST it. Go slowly and make sure that there is no sound
of razor against hair before you finish.
NB ! Don't overdo it ! It is easier to hide the shadow of a beard than
a massive amount of scars !
5 ) Rinse out the rest of the soap in WARM water, and rinse a second time
with COLD, to close the pores. Important ! Do NOT use aftershaves with
alcohol AT ALL. This does NO GOOD for your skin.
6 ) Use a facial cream / moisture cream afterwards. Shaving takes alot
of the skins normal moisture !
These points can, and should, be applied to your 'normal' shaving as well.
Try to imagine your skin, pores open after a shave, and the result when
you put alcohol into those...
This is the regular procedure, and can be used all over the body. Just
be aware that the hair in armpits and around genitals are there to
PROTECT, and removal of these must be done with caution. Be sure to wash
thouroughly afterwards ! These areas can very easily be infected.
Note ! Do NOT shave eyebrows ! Here the easiest method is oldfashioned
and slow, but safe ! Pluck them !
- Wax.
The idea here is to fasten the hair to some sort of material, usually a
strip of plastic / cloth with wax on it. The technique for removal is
then basically the same as when removing glued bandages. You rip it
of. The hair get ripped out at the root, and takes longer to grow back
than with shaving. It DOES hurt, and swelling is normal after this
treatment. Regrowth can produce some undesirable effects, such as
infections.
- Pluck(ing).
This is the old way of treating eyebrows, and it is still the BEST method
for hair around the eyes. Mechanical devices ( ' Epilady ' ) that employs
this method for hair removal on larger areas has been around for a while,
but they do have the same disadvantages as waxing. Besides, if you've ever
picked your eyebrows, you might not even want to THINK about doing the same
to your legs...
Some small tips on plucking eyebrows :
1 ) If skin in sensitive, try 'freezing' the skin with ice cubes or
desentizing prolong creme.
2 ) Apply a cloth dipped in warm water before starting. As with shaving,
this opens the pores.
3 ) Brush, with a spare toothbrush or similar, the eyebrows away from
the part you intending to pluck. If you are planning to do the area
abow the brows : brush down. Area below : brush up.
4 ) General rule : The highest point of the brow should be in the arch
just above the point were your iris meets the white, on the outer
corner.
- Chemical Hair Removal Products
The precise 'wereabouts' of these I am presently not sure about. I will try
one or more within short though, and I'll tell you what's left afterwards...
What I got for myself is a product by
Carter-Wallace Ltd.
Folkestone, Kent
called " Nair " ( atleast here in Norway ).
This is a cream that you are to apply in a rather thick layer over the
hair to be removed. Then wait for 3-4 minutes, and test on a small piece
whether the hairs loosen easily. If they do not, wait another two minutes
and repeat the process. Maximum time 15 minutes !
Remove the cream, and hopefully the hair with it, with the little plastic
" thing " you got in the package. There are more instructions, but on to
more important things.
a) I am allergic, and react VERY strongly. This product is tested, but the
container says to try a small patch of skin first, wait for 24 hours,
and if no problems occur, to use it normally. I did, and there was no
problems.
b) The product contains babyoil and aloe vera, but ALSO " tioglycol acid ",
and IS a chemical ! Warnings on the tube says to avoid getting this in
your eyes.
c) As a test, I tried this on my left arm. Leaving it on for some 8 minutes,
I spendt the time shaving my right one. When comparing afterwards, it
seem the hair removal cream DOES produce a smoother surface. There is,
when looking VERY closely ( i.e. a magnifying lense ) small, black spots
on the shaved part - the " rest " of the hair still " in " the skin. On
the chemically treated part, there are fewer of these.
d) Which method lasts the longest then ? To be frank, I can see no
difference in either regrowth time, OR smoothness myself. Perhaps I am
using it incorrectly ( according to my mom ), or maybe it is just a
bad product. I'll try some others from time to time !

Shaping The Eyebrows
- To provide perfect balance, there are fixed points where eyebrows should
start and finish. Use a pencil to determine these points. Hold it upright
so that it runs from the side of the nostril straigh up. Where it touches
the eyebrow should be your starting point.
- Move the pencil outward, keeping the base at the side of the nostril. Angle
it past the outer corner of the eye. At the point where it reaches the
eyebrow, you will find the perfect end position. If you look straight ahead
in a mirror, the highest point of the eyebrow should be above the iris.
- You should never remove hair from above the eyebrow - concentrate on the
stragglers below. Brush the brows with a clean mascara brush, hold the
skin taut between two fingers, and pluck stray hair in the direction which
they grow. Only pluck one hair at a time, from between the brows first and
then from below. Wipe over with a mild toner, and apply moisturizer.
- To colour in eyebrows, you can use a fine pencil or one of the powder
products designed for the purpose. Pencils are fare easier to control.
Brush the eyebrows first, then use short, feathery strokes to fill in.
Avoid making eyebrows too dark since this can be ageing. Brush eyebrows
after penciling to soften the line.
- Bleaching.
First, NEVER use a bleach on eyebrows or eyelashes !
Use 20 volume peroxide. Speed up the process by mixing three parts
bleaching peroxide with one part ammonia. Mixing this with a teaspoon
of soap flakes provides a paste. Depending on your hair, several
application of this might be needed. Let each one sit for about 15
minutes. Wash of CAREFULLY. After repeating this until you have reached
the desired colour, use a moisturizer.
- Camouflage...
To hide hair on legs, try using a pair of beige or skin coloured stockings
underneath a pair of sheer black ones.
Long gloves can be used both as an nescessarity with ball gowns and as a
way to camouflage arm hair.
Chest hair can in a similiar fashion be ' removed ' with use of appropriate
clothing, such as higher necks, scarfs, feather boas and jewelry.
- Electrolysis
This is the, presently, only solution for removing hair PERMANENTLY. Is
is also by far the most expencive and time consuming. Removal of hair
from large areas can take ALOT of time.
The prices per january 1993 is in Norway $ 5 per 5 minutes. How much that
can be done in those minutes depends on the hair to be removed.
