I agree with you, rml; however, in the story, I intended (besides to
entertain) to show how Eloise's psyche got cross-wired so that a lesser
passion (Jesus) got linked to a greater passion (auto-eroticism). Eloise
had, at best, the same sort of nonmystical fantasy relationship with
Jesus that a Brasilian kid might have with Pele--not religion, just
hero worship. The strong emotional release that Eloise (and Chris,
for that matter) got from anal masturbation and orgasm is the same that
a truly religious person might get from religious practice. I am from
De Ole South, and I have seen enough women experiencing orgasm in
fundamentalist church services to understand what _that_ is all
about, thank you.
So, box score: Eloise, not religious, merely horny and fortunate
enough to find both Jesus and her own asshole at a convenient
nexus; without a sense of sin (for this story, anyway); and
attracted to Chris for reasons of voyeurism and dominance.
Chris, even less religious, lonely and horny, attracted to and
repelled by Eloise at the same time; taking the sumissive role
because it allows her to do the good stuff and internally
blame it on Eloise. Pretty standard top/bottom relationship,
only no ropes.
Thanks to you and others for your thoughtful comments.
