OK, I know it does, but what? How? Why? If you were to spend some cash
on some useful material, what would be best bang for the buck? Are
there any courses/books/videos etc that really are helpful?

I mean, all you really need to do is go out there and be social
interactive and work on your game. If you know how to evaluate, review
and learn, you'll improve. It's like anything else.

What I'm really asking for is the methods. What are the 10 most
important things to do? I guess I'm looking for the step-by-step-guide.
Sort of concentrate on oth thing at a time.

The best bang for the buck? - obviously the free stuff. Do a search for
"newbies guide to seduction" all of the popular sites have one, there will be
enough info to be working with until you've identified which 'school' you'll
get on with best. Concentrate on one thing at a time, (just like you said)
start with your approach and identify and eliminate weaknesses as you go along.

Get out there and take action, don't become a seminar junkie who spends all of
his time and money learning theory and never puts it into action.

Don't be afraid to screw up, it happens to all of us. Learn that there are
plenty of opportunities out there and move away from the scarcity mentality.

My favorite exercises/techniques
3 second rule
David Shades eye contact experiment
Svengalis newbie mission.

Good luck and welcome.

I'm new to this as well. I've always had a HORRIBLE time with this
stuff but I'm in agreement with Varjak's favorites. I was doing the eye
contact experiment last night at a crowded club I was at to watch a
band play (and even got a # in the process.)

I found this site helpful: http://www.fastseduction.com/youarenew/

My guidance has been:

http://www.pickupguide.com/
http://www.fastseduction.com/guide/

plus

Reading through this newsgroup and checking replies to questions/problems in
field reports.

Also, I have read more than half of "The Game" which is an awesome book so far.

Why would you buy anything?

But you'll learn even faster if you can learn from your mistakes AND from
other people's as well. And you'll learn even faster if oyu can learn
from your successes AND from other people's as well.

That's the idea behind having a community... we can all learn from one
another. And not have to spend a dime doing so.

Well... now that's the real question... where to start.

Run the newbie mission first. Go out four times a week, for four weeks,
four hours each time, and talk to four women per hour.. not trying to
pickup, not looking for HBs only... just women... young old, UG HB,
whatever... so long as they qualify as women. And talk to them. Just get
used to talking to them and finding out what they talk about and such.

Learn to make eye contact. Run the eye contact mission. Go out and make
lots of EC... find out what ECs work best for you.

That's enough to keep you busy. By the time you've done those... you'll
know the other 8 things you want to look into all on your own.

OK. I'll try to do some homework this weekend.

OK. I'll do that. I was out last saturday, but problem is f*cking loud
music, very hard to talk. I live in a very small place and it's the
only place to go. A new place is about to open soon... I also got very
drunk, I was exausted helping my ex moving out...I talked to some
girls, but I didn't want to take it any far b/c the state I was in.

> Learn to make eye contact. Run the eye contact mission. Go out and make

Yes. I read about this trick and I realized I've been doing this for
quite some time now. I'll try to perfect it.

I think I am some kind of RAFC. I've read some Ebooks and threads on
forums, and I know "all the stuff", but I'm not so sure on how to put
it into use. There seem to be slightly different wasw, so I guess I'll
have to experiment a bit. Thanks, guys!

Best bang for your buck is obviously anything free, best bang for your
buck of those which are not free I'd say is the VAH

Here, follow dman's guide for an AFC which I wrote out a little while
ago:

Refer back at anytime as needed to with this page:
http://fastseduction.com/acronyms.shtml

Start of by moving through these links:
http://www.fastseduction.com/youarenew/
http://www.fastseduction.com/youarenew/why.shtml

Where are here you (if you are reading this then you are probably some
form of AFC....):
http://www.fastseduction.com/youarenew/9levels.shtml

This is important:
http://www.fastseduction.com/guide/01_The_Basic_Rules/3seconds.shtml

Where would you say you are relative to this?
http://www.fastseduction.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?action=retrieve&grp=1...

Skim through this:
http://www.fastseduction.com/asf-faq.shtml

This has all been so far merely background in trying to prepare your
mind to properly learn PU (pick up), for this I'd advise starting of by
learning only one of the "schools of thought" (as I'll call it). But
with so many to choose from which pick up guru should you choose? My
personal favourite is Mystery, because his ideas and logical way of
analysis are very much similar to my own. Recently I've taken a liking
to Juggler as well, he may yet overtake Mystery as my number one pua...

If you are to go with Mystery read this:
http://www.fastseduction.com/misc/mystips.shtml

Is an old copy of what he used to say, even though he has greatly
improved on this I'd still suggest reading this. It gives a short
complete overview of everything that he once taught, then when you read
the Venusian Arts Handbook you will already have a basic framework in
your head on which to attach all the new ideas too. Which leads me onto
the second part, read the Venusian Arts Handbook
(http://www.mysterymethod.com/MM-Products.aspx?action=goto&catid=2).
Plus read the Online Apprenticeship Program whenever they come into
your inbox (sign up at mysterymethod.com).

Here is that other guy who I'm liking more and more at the moment,
Juggler who has an ebook called "How to Meet and Connect with Women ".
http://charismaarts.com/products/howtobe

==================================================================================================

Handy guide to read through when you want a change of pace from the
above and a bit of variety:
http://www.fastseduction.com/guide/

Something else for some even lighter and more fun reading (plus this is
the book that caused the current BOOM in interest about the seduction
community):
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060554738/ref=nosim/fastseduc...
(also available from your local Borders store etc... is where my
brother got it for me as a birthday present!)

==================================================================================================

Don't forget to be asking questions as you are reading through this, as
well as asking myself about anything I'd also suggest aklair,
seductionbb.com, and mysterymethod.com/forum as the best places to go
to for asking your questions.

Final word of advice, the best place to learn is in the field! Get on
out there, you don't need to go all the way through this to the very
end of the Venusian Arts Handbook before you do your first approach. In
fact to do that would be a very BAD idea. Hopefully you will even get
your first new lay long before you finish reading all this.

Finally final.... best of luck!

Oy oy oy . . . the blind leading the blind.

I guess by 1:51 am he had already forgotten what he learned.

Or maybe he squeezed a seminar in between 10:57 pm and 1:51 am and
decided to stick with standard proven eye contact instead of :

Is this guy in *any* position to be doling out seduction advice to
anybody?

I see that complaining to Dman's ISP must not have worked. Overstayed
your welcome with the major ISPs as their "spam policeman," perhaps?

Hmmm.... is that what level you are at? Could explain the thread you
recently started which I replied to.

My advice is look through what I posted above, gives an easy step by
step guide to getting this stuff sorted. After that you will know
enough about the scene to branch out and learn more stuff on your own.

Nah, more likely he doesn't have a clue what ISP I'm with. Though if he
has been observant he might have at least picked up to within a few
hundreds of kilometers where I live. I've mentioned it often enough.
