FINALLY, we have our newsgroup and COMMUNITY back!
Commercialism takes a backseat to CONTENT, on-topic discussions, and
cutting-edge debates of the kind that made ASF great, and which
launched the original "seduction community."
This is not an accident. A lot has happened since 2001.
The public now knows that "moderated" (censored) fora are not the
magic bullet that will yield "a hottie in every bed." About the only
thing migration to commercial (censored) environments accomplished was
to trun this COMMUNITY into an INDUSTRY. Prices went UP, even as more
competitors entered the market. Does that make any sense?
People have also grown wise to HATERS and the pathetic noise they
make, as if their presence in a group to which they have no interest
in contributing should not even be questioned. Intense bashing of any
individual is going to call the hater into question, and leave the
audience wondering why the target is "important enough to hate."
Those who relied on hate-marketing in the past have now been left in
the dust.
Many of the problems I warned about ten years ago have now been
detailed on entire websites devoted to problems with the community,
most notably these:

That's another problem the haters have. The people who are behind the
hate (it's often business, nothing personal) do NOT want these
"watchdog" sites to be publicized, yet whnever they post their
vitriol, they trigger a response.
The bottom line is that now, today's gurus must compete on ASF, in a
TOTAL FREE-SPEECH environment, and debate fairly, lest the audience
not purchase their offerings. Those who do not have a commercial
agenda, or who do not rely on charging a ton of money for instruction,
will not care either way.
The winner here is you, THE AUDIENCE. You want quality information,
it's here. ANYONE can post here. Don't let the gurus whine and hide
behind their own pages and sites, which may be useful for getting
THEIR message out, but which can hardly be considered unbiased.
Consumers need ALL relevant information. The gurus who do not rip
people off, who have something to teach, and who offer quality
information for free, will be the ones who emerge on top, which is
exactly as it should be.
