You have to get a life before you will have good stories that are your own. This means GETTING THE FUCK OUT OF THE HOUSE and finding something to get into.
When you have things to talk about... things that you want other people to know about.... it becomes simple to tell the stories and exaggerate them... throw in a bit of pattern langauge... and there you go.
My stories (and I have a Word doc full of them) all relate to some part of the Maniac plan. In which case it's easy... I just go up and start telling them about the cool thing that happened to me the other day where.... blah blah blah blah

like a comedian, many bits come from reality but the comedian learns that removing parts that arent funny and changing things to make it more funny are a part of the game. Same with YOUR routines. Maybe a story is a year old, but you can say, "Earlier today ..." just to make your routine concise. It doesnt matter that it was a year ago so you remove that fromt the routine. Maybe your friend was driving the car but its funnier and more concise if you say YOU were. Change the stories any way you like. If you want to concoct entire stories, hell, do it! Remember, a carefully constructed first impression, conveying and demonstrating the 5 characteristics of an alphamale will get you the girl.

you know what will help you make a good life? strongly consider doing the photo routine on women. See, you will need to take the time to take those adventurious photos that you will be showing the girls. It takes time to make these photos so you have to schedule weekly adventurous outings so you can stage some good photo ops. rock climbing, being on stage, skiing, water-skiing, hanging with friends, eating great food, meeting your idols, hanging with HBs, etc. Not only will you LIVE a great life, but you will RECORD these moments for the photo routine. And then ... you dont have to TELL your target how adventurous and amazing your life is; you can just SHOW the pix (saying you JUST got them developed) ... great for strippers too!

I like the photo idea. I have never been one to snap up a great deal of photographs, as I usually just lose them, but that sounds like a reasonable idea. The thing is, though, do you take those around with you, or do you keep them at home and show them when you get the girl back to your house? Maybe keep them in the car?

Rio makes a good point. First, GO OUT AND GET A LIFE. Seriously, start getting involved with non-ASF things that interest you: sailing, motorcycle racing, whatever. This is enormously important. After all, you are trying to convey to women that you have a rich, rewarding life and she has to PROVE she's worth your time/attention, etc. Can't really do this properly if you're faking your way through here.
Secondly, I recommend that all of you get in a habit of WRITING THINGS DOWN. Hear a good joke? Write it down. Heard a great quote from a movie? Write it down. Came up with an interesting thought? Write it down. Then, get in the habit of reviewing your notes. I keep a Word doc of all the funny quotes, jokes and stories I have either come up with myself , experienced, or heard from other sources. I cannot possibly recall how many times I have been able to rehash some of that material in opportune times.

Hmmm. Remember, women can detect bullshit, too. And outright lies, usually better than men can.
I personally wouldn't do this (OK, maybe a few minor lies and halftruths, but certainly not making up stories wholesale), I don't think I'm a good enough actor. I doubt if you are too, since you come across as having low self-esteem.

Gordon Roy Parker suffers from a mental illness called "Manic/Depression" sometimes also called 'Bi-Polar Disorder'. He has himself stated this. This disorder is characterized by alternating periods of mania and depression. In a manic phase the sufferer experiences a euphoric high and experiences delusions of both grandeur and superior abilities. The cycle then gradually swings to the depressive phase, where the sufferer can experience crippling depressive symptoms. It should be noted that Gordon Roy Parker has indeed made past usenet posts in which he threatened to kill himself.
Some people also think Gordon Roy Parker has a narcissistic personality complex. A narcissistic personality has the following traits:
1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g, exaggerates achievements and talents,

Many would agree that Gordon's predicament is unfortunate. Lots of people have mental illnesses and are able to lead productive and fulfilling lives. But it would seem that, rather than obtain adequate treatment for his problem and explore his issues with a therapist to hopefully move his life in a positive direction, Gordon instead insists on spending every available waking moment on usenet where he has alienated himself from most of the remaining usenet population by being as disruptive, vengeful and taunting as possible. He has sometimes made in excess of 60 usenet posts in a single 24 hour period (eg 64 posts on Aug 31 2001 alone), yet still tells people that he's busy working on numerous projects and filing numerous legal actions. One could wonder, with the time he spends on usenet, how he has time for anything else from an actual job to actually filing one of the many legal actions that he constantly says are imminent, to eating and sleeping.
Gordon is 34 years old, admits to having herpes and has claimed that all women are whores and "cunts". This statement, since it includes all women, would imply his own mother is a whore and a "cunt". Yet he still seems to feel qualified to offer unsolicited advice, even when specifically requested not to, and spams the groups with ads for his website and products. The fact that all his advice and products are given and sold under a phony name ie "Ray Gordon" says an awful lot.
While some people think Gordon's condition is unfortunate and would wish him the best if he sought treatment, they feel his current behavior detracts from the functioning of our group. Please be aware that responding to his posts may encourage him to post further. Consider not replying to his inflamatory posts, or even filter his posts out of your newsreader listings.
