this was covered a long time ago, but I will give my CURRENT feelings on the term BITCH.
first of all, BITCH is a "hunting" term. wing on phone : "I am down here in the village" me on phone : "how are the BITCHES?"
in this context, BITCH is a general description meaning HOT, SEXY CHICKS. I am not and no one I know is interested in non-sexy chicks, so they are automatically cut out of the female population. I would NEVER ask how many FAT or UGLY chicks are in the street... who cares?
BITCH can also be used when it is a stupid woman, or a woman that wants to give you problems with fucking her, or she has a bad attitude.
AFC : "I took her to dinner and she didn't even kiss me good-night" me : "fuck that BITCH!" (not the literal meaning of have intercourse with her, but as in forget her or let this BITCH rot in hell)

C'mon, settle down, all of you! (Ahem)........... Carol, NYC is fairly liberal with his vernacular. Its up to each of us to respond to that which is relevant and ingnore the rest.
