Common konwledge is just that: COMMON. In 1998, when this movement began, it was ignored by the public at large, which is why average guys were able to use the various theory to get laid by incredibly hot chicks. Now, thanks to media exposure, Everyone thinks he is a "pickup artist" (PUA). It's no different than when card-counting hit the mainstream and the casinos (women) took countermeasures.
Now, the theory is useful only for men who are *already successful* with women. It's useful to know how to exploit one's existing advantage in desirability. The other useful theory is that which focuses on how to make yourself TRULY more desirable to women, with genuine self-development and self-actualization, not some one-dimensional tricks like pointing to one's crotch as one says "be-LOW me." (this was supposedly cutting-edge at one point).
Where "game" comes into play now is in situations where say a rich guy needs to know how to get better women, or how to close the deal, but *creating attraction* with simple routines will no longer work, because they have lost their surprise value, and more desirable men are using the same tricks.
In Bettor Off Single (BOS), the book linked to BE-LOW ME, I focus on genuine self-development, along with truly figuring out how women think. I explain things like probing (how she screens for lovers), "alpha gimmicks," and, most of all, how to develop a long-term, LIFETIME plan for your love life, much like a professional athlete would for his career. I also delve deeply into how to choose the right women, how to find the type most interested in you, and how to avoid toxic women.
You won't do much better for a 600-page book that is absolutely free. Those who want more specialized advice can find links in BOS to "The PUA Library" on Kindle, a complete, six-volume set for the aspiring PUA.
