On LayGuide.com it mentions that the LayGuide is now available in "e-book format" from a site called ebookathon.com
On ebookathon.com, the LayGuide is a downloadable e-book and there's a so-called "home version" (though, no other version is described) and this is being given away as an incentive to become a (paying?) member of ebookathon.
I bet you NG regulars had no idea your posts were going to end up being someone else's book, huh? Maybe we should all do this. We can each make a compilation of everyone else's posts, verbatim, and call it a book. Anyone else find this odd?

Don't sweat it. There is something in the works on my site which will completely nullify the payware BS that has since become layguide.com. Maniac, Jack, and my wings have already seen it. I'm in the middle of some textual re-writes right now but, otherwise, every other promised feature is in there and working great.
In the meantime, anyone annoyed at the payware aspect of Tony's guide (which is 95% regurgitated material from here) can find a free mirror of it as it existed on July 10, 2000 on Maniac's site. It hasn't even been updated since then so it still boggles my mind why anyone would pay for that content.

Tony's whole idea stinks..... but don't worry folks.

This is why the whole idea of what Tony is trying to do is so far up the FUCKING CREEK!
Making money out of setting the two sexes at each others throat is, if not manipulative, very EVIL.
Tony will get what he is asking for - in due course.
Why doesn't anyone understand that the free resources on the web are free for a VERY important reason?
Somebody should just get a copy of the book, publish it freely on geocities or other free place (so many of them now) and put a notice there that if anybody downloads the book, he should create another downloadable area somewhere else. That should do the trick. And Tony's book would go to hell (well, at least the pay for it).
