ADT or FrontPointSecurity for a house?

Hello.
According to quick Google searches, it seems like FrontPointSecurity is better than ADT. Do you guys agree on this? Has anyone tried both for a house? Is it true that FrontPointSecurity doesn't have 24/7 support like ADT?

Honeywell IGSMV Requires Crossover cable

If your going to be installing a Honeywell IGSMV Alarmnet you must use a cross over cat 5 cable not a straight cable or it will not work properly they have it in very small print this is cable needed. It will cause you major headaches otherwise.

DSC phone line technical support is terrible

I hope DSC is listening and getting this message ! Their phone line
support is not adequately manned, with wait times up to hours not
minutes. While I realize that a lot of questions are from installers
asking questions they should know if they were trained properly, or if

Alarm Screen Shop in NYC Area??

I've got a couple of alarm window screens that need to be repaired
(the leads have ripped off of the frames). My preferred shop in
Allentown, PA is no longer in business.
Can anyone recommend another shop in the New York City area who can
repair these screens?
