Subject: Support Tom Otterness -- Sculptor under attack (Sign the Petition)
Tom Otterness is a world famous sculptor known for creating bronze
sculptures in public places often in a way that people can interact
with and climb on.  (see youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY8dd3cvpp8
)

In the 70s as part of an art film project Tom Otterness shot and
killed a dog he purchased from a rescue schelter.  Because of this act
40 years ago, animal rights activists continue to hound Mr. Otterness
over this act.  Mr.  Otterness has repeatedly apologized for the act
and wants to move on with his career as a sculptor of whimsical art.

The Memorial Art Gallery of Rochester (The Mag) is creating a
sculpture garden and has commissioned Tom Otterness to create new
works of sculpture for the garden, but animal rights activists are at
it again with petitions and calls for a boycott.

I have created a petition of my own in support of Tom Otterness and
his work.  Please sign it at Change.org.
