Five short months ago these words appeard here on this news group. And if you go to that site now you will find they are
gone......does that tell you something about online art gallerys that want to represent you and take money from you. Anyone besides
"Ledbetter" had a "good experience" with online art galleries?

http://www.artscans.co.uk

|Fed up seeing adverts for online art galleries promising the earth
|then delivering nothing?

|Tired of having limits and restrictions placed on the art you can add
|to online galleries?

|Had enough of being charged for a service that should be permanently
|free?

|Can't believe that you have to wait days for your membership account
|to be added, or your art to appear in the gallery?

|THAT'S ALL GOING TO CHANGE!

|ArtScans Online - Online Art the Way it Should Be

|Since ArtScans.co.uk re-launched as ArtScans Online on the 1st July
|2002, we have grown immensely.

|Before the 1st July, we had 591 pieces of art online. Just 10 days
|later, we have 656 pieces of art online! On the 1st June, we received
|4211 hits... On the 1st July, just 10 days later, we received an
|incredible 15405 hits!

Well, Now they are gone and so is the money someone sent them.
Be careful out there.

I think a lot of these online galleries got clogged with bad, or at least
unsellable art. We all know what a highly competitive field the bad art
market has lately become - newcomers like ledbetter simply didn't have a
chance.

Heres a remarkable purveyor of the craft - combining bad taxidermy, bad art
and questionable taste. This might be one Mr. Werby's neighbors.

ps; might as well check out the whole website while you are there.

". This might be one Mr. Werby's neighbors."

Purely cuz he's from San Francisco, no other reason implied or intended.
