I'm going to Chicago next week, giving a presentation at the International
Sculpture Convention (subject: "From Actual to Virtual and Back Again")
and I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for my itinerary.
I know about the Art Institute and the Field Museum, but are there any
less well-known sculpture sites (besides the Navy Pier exhibition) that I
shouldn't miss? Any great galleries? Nominations for favorite restaurants,
beaches, surplus depots, and odd sights also welcome. Is this a cool
place, or is it all just wind?

Hi Andrew!

Koko here from the World Arts Association. Just thought I would mention
to you PAUL KLEIN -- he is from Klein art works of Chicago. More info
on his gallery at:

http://www.kleinart.com

He's a great guy! Used to live in SF bay area. I know you are from
this area as well. This a great gallery to check out while in Chicago.

Have a great trip!

Best regards

[Thanks for the tip, Lisa- (or is this Koko at Lisa's e-mail?) I liked what
Mr.Klein had to say on his site about the business he's in, and the reasons
why or why not to buy a piece of art- not many dealers or so frank, but I
found myself agreeing with a lot of what he had to say.

I'll try to check him out.

What's up with the World Arts Association these days? Any new projects since
the show?]
