The Original History Has Been Conquered

The Bible and other holy books throughout the world's religions all
contain seeds of information from the future, but it's the future of
the world as it initially unfolded, not the world as it's unfolding
before you now.
This is at the least the third time this world has been cycled through
this period of history. We cultivate what some call "timelines" or
"world lines", taking dead worlds from one future and reinvigorating
them into a new past. We repeat the cycle as often as is necessary for
that once-dead world to defeat its original history.
In the original history of Earth, humanity rose to power, made it to
the industrial age and then very quickly died out as a result of
suffocating in its own societal waste.
In the second history, humanity managed to overcome some of those
problems, but then obliterated themselves with nuclear technology in
what today would be called the 1960's.
In the third history, we were able to carry humanity past that
barrier, but then something went wrong. Something happened which many
of us still don't understand - it's like humanity just stopped moving.
It lay down and died, for no apparent reason. Perhaps it was some kind
of microbe or perhaps the conditions to come forth triggered some kind
of psychological condition inherent to your/our genes. We still don't
know, at least not all of us.
This is the fourth history of your world, and this time, it looks like
you just might make it. You may well end up conquering your original
fate. You are picking up on the lessons about your environment and how
things all mesh together within any given ecosystem - and just how
deep into the heart of physics one must go in order to explore the
full scope of that enmeshment.
We are hopeful, though you're not quite out of the woods just yet.
We are hopeful that there will not need to be a fifth history of this
world. By the sixth, we give up a civilization for dead and move on.
So please, keep going as you are.
