I could be wrong, but something about this link suggests it was
prepared by clueless PR people, but the fact is that unless the
accelerator was first powered up about a year ago, and has been
repeatedly tuned continuouly, there is zero hope of a particle beam
making its way around the accelerator when the machine is first
activated.
So, I suppose that the earth is spared from the intrusion of man-
created "Black Holes" for another year or two! :-)
