Welcome to the "sci.astro.amateur" astronomy group Islamist brother!
These are good groups to post to. I have forwarded your interesting
astronomy-related scientific message to other similar Muslim groups
in the unmoderated sci.* Theist newsgroup hierarchy. Theists belong
here. Please tell everyone you know to participate in these groups.
I have sent a CC of this reply to <Dawaa...@gmail.com>, per your
request. Please tell every Muslim and other Theist you know to join
the sci.* newsgroups and talk about the Holy Qur'an and praisworthy
Prophet Muhammed on these and all other Muslim science groups. This
is a *great* place to talk about Theist sciences, Muslim, Xian, etc.
Everybody here welcomes you. Please let all Muslims know that these
_public_ discussion groups belong to them, too, as well as to Xians.
There are some Atheist heathens who post here, but just ignore them
(these groups would be a lot more interesting if more Theists would
post to them. So far, it's been mostly bigoted Atheistic numbskulls).
Let's start by discussing how many stars brighter than magnitude ~5
have Arabic names? I know plenty of them do. Wonder what the actual
percentage is? And look at the overwhelming popularity of the Greek
Lots, better known to astronomers today as Arabic Parts? These are
important to Theist astronomers today, and have been for millennia.
Here is a text list for almost 1000 J2000 stars archived on Google:

There are a lot of Arabic names in there. My favorite is al-debaran.

Out of that steaming pile of horsecrap all you could find to complain
about was the spelling? Sheesh.

Excuse me, Bob, why do say such nonsense? Plus, this was a personal request
to Daniel, and a valid one. I had always assumed he considered himself a
Christian. And as naive as that may seem, I thought it interesting that He
seemed to be either a Muslim Himself, or one of those who believe that it
is O. K to believe anything, as long as you believe in God.
But perhaps you are the gullible one, assuming that anyone who has
something to say pertaining to God, must be speaking rubbish. Or perhaps you
are are associating me with what Mr. Min says. I am not a supporter of his,
or the Muslim person who wrote here. I was only making a comment about his
etiquette, even though it speaks also to everyone who makes the same
mistake. Hopefully accuracy and politeness are not dead to you.
We all need a little jolt to wake us up, and prod us along once in a
while. But in this increasingly anti Christian, and often anti Semitic
atmosphere, it is hard for many to receive from a Christian. After all,
we're those hypocrical people whom you hate so much.
Yet Jesus said it well, that they hate you (His disciples), because they
hate Me.
But Goodness and politeness aren't dead, and I hope that some of those who
read this can see it in the spirit that it was written, meant to edify, not
to stir up debate.
In Jesus Name,
Bill.
Well, the post was a steaming pile of horsecrap, so my description was
only accurate. Min was suggesting that Muslims start posting their
religious notions to sci.* newsgroups - a spectactularly inappropriate
place!

I say that anyone who asks other people to write "Christian" instead
of "Xtian" on Usenet needs to find more important concerns for
himself.

How appropriate from a loving god!!
Cite, please, or are you like most theists who
make statements and then refuse to back
them up?
Why do you keep switching the newsgroups you
crosspost to? Are you a troll?
