Whether or not this pans out, I'm going with it. How about: Volcanic
Activity as a Predictor of Tectonic Shifts?

In other words, if proven true, it could be used to increase
likelihood of accuracy in earthquake prediction.

The idea is simple. When magma shifts outward, from the mantle to the
surface, it adds to the mass of a tectonic plate. In the case of
something like the Yellowstone bulge, the mass of a plate might
experience a significant increase. As a result, the plate as a whole
experiences a slightly larger pull toward the equator.

Is it not possible that predictable fault pressures would occur, as a
result of force increases in the outward pull of the entire tectonic
plate?
