Just viewed it now, after having just seen your post.

Very interesting, I hope others conduct this experiment to confirm
Groesnicks findings.

Whilst initially watching the video, and watching the initial horizontal
rotation around the vertical axis, I did think you would expect it be also
conducted around the other orthoganl axis, ie vertical rotation around the
horizontal axis, and obviously composites of these two axes to record the
results.

I'm surprised that these have not been done before, if that is really the
case.

Also the variations occuring at different times of the day I would attribute
to the tilt of the, which actually really implies an absolute space
reference, as I conjectured initally it might have something to do with the
earths iron core.

Its certainly a phenomena that should be investigated around the globe and
different times of days and times of the year to see if an absolute space
reference is really preferred.

Thanks for sharing the video, and trust its not a hoax and can be replicated
by others.

If the MM experiment has been conducted around the globe then they would
have spotted this a long time ago. as two experiments would have been
orthogonal.

So my suspicion is now the that the variance is due to the experiments in
instablility in holding steadfast the mirrors or possible bending of the
support arm to weight when in the vertical position.subtly altering the
interference seen.
