Hi All,
I posted this to stats.prediction in error ....
Suppose you have a bivariate func as follows ...
f(x,y) = 1 + theta(1-2x)(1-2y) 0<=x<=1 & 0<=x<=1
I want to find the values of theta that make this a valid pdf.
When I integrate w.r.t x and w.r.t. y, _I_ find that Theta can be any
value as the terms in x and y integrate to zero.
Am I missing a trick here?
