AT&T has pledged to work with the charity Cell Phones for Soldiers
(CPFS) to drive cell phone recycling and reduce e-waste through the
next year with a goal of doubling the number of cell phones the
charity recycles by next Earth Day. CPFS collects and recycles mobile
phones- more than 900,000 since Earth Day 2007- so it can provide U.S.
military families with free phone cards.

Working together, and with your help, AT&T and CPFS have a new goal:
collect more than 1.8 million devices by Earth Day 2009.

AT&T is currently expanding their support of CPFS to include a network
of more than 300,000 community volunteers, a national donation drive
running through July 2008, and a new online starter kit for donations,
at
<a href=”www.att.com/recyclewireless”>AT&T Recycle Wireless</a>.

Drop used mobile phones at any AT&T retail location, mail phones in
via a free shipping label, or start a community recycling drive. Free
labels and new tools supporting donation drives are available through
the online kit at the link above.

Now, everyone can do their part to support the earth and military
families.
