How can I save my Garmin nüvi 670 NA with European maps (see photos)

My trusty $900 + $90 tax (when I bought it) Garmin nüvi 670 NA (with
European maps) has a broken mount and I will be going to Europe in a
month.
The battery doesn't last longer than ten or twenty minutes; so I have to
use it with the power connected.
Here is a picture of the broken nüvi 670 mount:

Is there a known way to convert this mount to USB power?
If not, may I ask ...

After looking at the pictures I'd suggest a New Garmin 1450. I use this
model and am more than happy with it.
