anyone here uses bolt on gps bracket? if so, what type? I'd like to have the gps bracket be bolted on an unused empty panel (normally, that panel would be used by a 4x4 switches) on my Chevy S10

Suddenly, I cannot go to any destinations via the address option. I receive a screen: "Your device needs to be restarted to increase performance. Please wait while your data is saved". Needless to say, after restarting, I still receive the same message, to repeated every time I try to go to an address. Any ideas??... more »

hey just wondering. how accurate are these maps with regard to addresses? does it vary from city to city? I bought a Magellan 1470 gps, a very nice machine. I've been playing with it this weekend, learning how to use it. I'm a pizza delivery driver. I'm disappointed in the models accuracy. It got me to the right street,... more »

Sportrak Map says "Unit currently contains no Maps!"

My 5-year-old Sportrak Map GPS lost it's factory installed base map and is unusable. Magellan's solution to my problem was to suggest I buy a new Magellan GPS ! If this one turns out to be disposable, I'm not buying another one. Anyone know were I can get a factory base map + POIs (North Am.) to install... more »
