Weird lockup

My nuvi 465t has locked up twice. It was several days apart and both times in Fargo, ND on I-94 right next to the interchange with I-29. Wonder if there is anything specific about that location that locks up my nuvi.

New Nuvi Software Update Without Map Update

Can I register my new nuvi 255 now and download any updated operating software *without* downloading any map updates? I want to wait to near 60 days to get any new maps...

Greetings, How much memory in a ScanDisk can I add to my nuvi 750. I want to buy map updates. The Garmin site warns that if there is not enough memory in the unit only partial maps updates will be loaded. Thanks in advance for you help and support. Leigh

In reading some of the latest discussions about map updates, one user mentioned the concept of just buying a new GPS, and selling the old one.... hmmm - interesting concept - map update for my Nuvi 255 are $70 New 255 on Amazon is $110 - other sites are about $140 - maybe sell old one for $50 ? Lifetime maps worthwhile?

I have nuvi 350 with 2008 maps that came with the gps when I bought it 2 years ago. I always use it in the car without running off the internal battery. I would like to buy the lifetime maps for N.A. but I don't know how long the internal battery will last. I don't want to find myself with lifetime map updates and a weak or dead battery in the unit.... more »
