Jack Erbs, I hope ypou are still reading here. You posted a list of
the settings you had for this GPS. It was a few years ago and I used
those settings. I have lost the file and I am hoping you will post
it again.

Thanks

sadly Jack is nothing like as regular a visitor as he used to be, sorely
missed.

Are you aware that many newsgroup services and readers don't allow
attachments?

Sure but my service and reader allows attachments and so I tried to
help.
But in the meantime Reinhard has posted a link to the same file so
everyone should be able to fetch it

OK.

In the future, one thing that can be done is to post your file at a
service such as 4shared, mediafire, sendspace, or one of a million
others, and then post a link to that file. That would cover all bases,
if it is convenient for you.

They are at www.their-name.com, or Google for
share files online free
to see that million I spoke of.

I haven't used any of them for a very long time, and the ones above are
just names from my Google search, so I can't tell you which ones are
good (or bad).

Firefox can't find the server at www.their-name.com.

(Just kidding.) :-)

I wrote the answer below before I finished reading what you wrote. I
thought you might get a mild chuckle from my momentary doltishness :-)

"their-name" is a variable standing for their names above.
