Garmin 2720

Hello,

I'm thinking to buy a Garmin 2720 out of the US. An American colleague of
mine is going to sell his 2720 as he just bought a Zumo 550. I can buy his
2720 for $100 but is it worth?
As i live in Europe, i would like to delete the US maps and install the
European maps. Is this possible?
Does have anybody experience on this?

Hi,

European maps will cost you around 100€ and maybe an unlock fee by
Garmin as well.
I have a new 2820 with City Navigator Europe 2008 installed for sale.
As it is new and comes with all accessories, the City Navigator on DVD
with all unlock codes, and never registered at Garmin it should cost
at least 400€.

That's an excellent opportunity! You can install the City Navigator Europe
and it should work just fine. IMHO, the 2720 is a more feature rich
machine than the Nuvi.

I paid about $380 for mine last year.
