Just Got a Nuvi 200 as a present today

It is my Birthday today and I just got a Nuvi 200 , this is my first GPS
unit except for an old Etrex handheld that doesn't even have maps. That is
why I consider it my first. Is this a good basic unit ? I haven't even
opened the box yet.
Can I do Geo cacheing with it ? I haven't ever done this before but thought
about it.

It's great, and much easier to use than my previous mapped unit, which
required uploading the maps. I got mine out of the box, and used it
immediately to walk from Fry's back to a friend's house, stopping at
another place along the way.

Yes, it will work, though many of the features of the Nuvi are for driving,
not walking. Look up POV on the following page:
