Is there something later than CN North America NT 2010.10?

Yes - it's 2010.03. I downloaded it today into my 2720 and 2 days ago into
my nuvi 660. (2 separate lifetime updates)

OK, thanks.

Would you happen to know when it was released? If version .40 is
expected in the next 60 days, I'll hold off on my 1 free update!

I downloaded 2010.3 on November 20, 2009 when it was first posted on
garmin's website.

First url below takes you to the City Navigator NT page. Second url
takes you directly to the City Navigator North America NT map. If you
use first url then click on the NT version for you area then click
view map then at top right on map click on view a detailed interactive
map and you will see the version number. I got my notification of the
new maps when I opened my garmin account.

The second url to take you directly to map viewer detailed version
number should be the one above.

My what a convoluted route just to find out the latest version.
You'd think they could come up with a more straightforward link system.
Especially with the "My Garmin" section.
It knows my devices...why can't it just say
"hey we have an update for your unit which is running 2010.2"

Or is that too simple???

When you sign in to MyGarmin and you have your gps registered it will
come up automatically on first page at top if you have lifetime numaps
signed up for yopur unit. Also under Maps on garmins home page you can
click on second link below it for map updates and then either have
your unit connected to your pc or enter your serial number and it will
tell you if any updated maps are available.

I meant to say on MyGarmin if any map updates are available and you
have signed up for lifetime numaps for your unit it will show up on
first page after a few seconds at top of page.

Been there done that.
Did NOT show 2010.3 available as an update for my 76CSx
Got email saying NT Mexico update available.
Went to site...checked in and only an expired link (even gave expiry date)
for my first download 6 weeks earlier.
Phoned them and they said "well that link is hot and it SHOULD be the
latest!
Why can it not give a version # or even the date of the update?

thanks for all the pointers...

I just went to Maps -
and then the navigated (various ways get you to same end point)
to where it shows the map product,
with the product info tabs....
Overview - Features - .... and VIEW MAP -

click on that -
get the Interactive Sample Map -
and voila - the header line has the map version - 2010.30 -

http://www8.garmin.com/cgi-bin/mapgen/webmap.cgi?p=134414337&l=0&u=1&v=0&cp=4CBB469EE9B15D08&z=2&x=240&y=180&w=480&h=360&d=0&rz=0&k=1&sc=1

yeah - I wish Garmin would publish the version and date somewhere,
without running the backroad gaunlet just to find the current version
number...

Thank you - I thought it was just me. That's EXACTLY how I feel about their
site. I put in all of my info ONCE, why can't their system compare - "What I
told it already" to "the latest version". Tell me in simple English - "
Latest map version 2010.30 , released as of Mar 31,2010" etc.

Doesn't sound to unlike exactly what it does for me. Did you look on the
dashboard tab with the unit plugged in?
