The battery will charge IF you have a charge line installed from the
tow vehicle battery to the trailer connection. This is basically a 10
guage (or bigger wire) usually run directly from the tow vehicle
battery back to the trailer connector. If you only have a "flat four"
connector, you will have to replace it, probably with a round
"Bargman" plug. Of course the wiring on the trailer has to provide the
connection from the plug to the battery too.

Also get a Deep Discharge and not a Marine Starting Battery unless you
intend to use it on a boat and need to start the engine.
