My wife is an RN at a mid-sized regional hospital. Before this mess, the
hospital was turning a small profit. Now they are losing $10 million per
month. They've furloughed several hundred employees through at least June.
The reason is the main profitable part of the hospital, elective surgery,
has been completely shut down. No more knee/hip/shoulder replacements, no
more back surgeries, no more plastic surgery, bariatric surgery, etc...
Meanwhile, they have dozens of empty beds.

All the pop up hospitals in NYC are now and have always been empty. Nothing
but healthcare workers sitting around watching CNN.

Hospitals in Michigan are laying off Nurses left and right..

Ну вот например у меня знакомый умер оттого, что ему операцию отложили
