I love Janet Napolitano's bug eyed assertion that the "system worked" in
preventing that bomb from going off and bringing down that plane. It's
like saying the system worked when you luckily get a royal flush in
poker. This broad does not belong in the position of Homeland security
Secretary.

Feel free to let us all know if he isn't apprehended after 8 years of
this presidents admin, neigh a mere 4 years.
Shoe bomber terrorist retard was apprehended right? Convicted? No?
My quality of christmas was surely downgraded when our media reported
the attempted attack.
He didn't accomplish his intent, but can we do better, yes we can.
Are you turds (republicans) gonna help, yes or no?

I don't mean help the terrorists you silly geese, I mean (actually)
help America
How difficult is it for you to watch ALL of a 30-second video???
Apparently you aren't that smart.
Here's what Napolitano REALLY said:
-- quote
Once this incident occurred, everything went according to clockwork,
not only sharing throughout the air industry, but also sharing with
state and local law enforcement. Products were going out on Christmas
Day, they went out yesterday, and also to the [airline] industry to
make sure that the traveling public remains safe. I would leave you
with that message. The traveling public is safe. We have instituted
some additional screening and security measures, in light of this
incident, but, again, everyone reacted as they should. The system,
once the incident occurred, the system worked.
-- end quote
The question that will (probably) have to go to the Supreme Court is:
Is it "war" if they declare it on us and we don't declare it on them?
Because if it IS war when THEY declare it then "murder" (or attempted
murder) is NOT a viable charge and INNOCENT of "murder" is the ONLY
possible verdict....
THIS IS WHY TAKING GITMO TERRORISTS TO CIVILIAN COURT IS A PROBLEM.
Richard Reid, the shoe bomber, was a foreign national who committed a
crime and was afforded the rights of criminal defendant and was
convicted in the US courts. I just don't understand the fuss
if we do the same with the underpants bomber. Why do people (eg,
elected and appointed officials) who supported it back then condemn
it now? Politics trumps patriotism, I guess.
