Charlton expresses some doubt about beefcake Lowe, hmmm.. she seems to
be holding back. We're pretty sure the Lowe's PR is exaggerated, and
wtf with the preempt Huff Post... "blackmail" accusation, "false
terribles".... ? ? And what does this mean, "probably was a grain of
truth there"... he's a little bit pregnant?

If she's hearing the same rumors the commoners hear, the chef and
nannies may not be so exaggerated and they haven't showed all their
cards.The chef's stealing medication, Lowe's "unclean" wife and bed
stories are out of the nanny cases? What Lowe showed Gibson on his
computer, is that still in?
This is not only a "celebrity" story. There is PR and media
manipulation and bias from the get go. This is not only about sexual
harassment. Serious labor and work place issues are over shadowed
because of distractions like "Rob looks hot as ever". So what? He
can afford plasic surgery and he married someone to keep him coifed.
It's his job to keep up what he's selling. There are carpetbaggers and
class warfare that can never be mentioned. How a middle aged D-list
actor looks matters?
The dismissal of 2 claims from the Lowe/Gibson court proceedings has
been headlined as "victorious" "wins"
"charges" et al, slightly over the top and most favor the celebrity.
In reality it was dull and typical of how court cases plod along. The
court of public opinion is again manipulated in the media. The Lowe's
have tremendous PR clout and have been certain winners. Gibson doesn't
have much of a chanch if she doesn't have back up in court. Even with
back up and if the Lowes lose in court, the damage control is ready to
blast blogs and all they can with the "lying nanny" retorts. She could
win in court and still be ruined for life... If this gets to a trial.
A settlement and silence works better for "celebrity".
The history of Rob Lowe and the paper of record in Santa Barbara
County [now Wendy McCaws News-Press] is written in stone. At the heart
of the matter is BIAS. McCaw protecting Lowe and accusations of bias.
The "loyals" v "disloyals". The Santa Barbara News-Press is infamous
for trouncing on the slightest "disloyal", preceived "enemy". They go
as far as front page manipulation in computer child porn stories.

I "predict" they will try to look "fair" and do minimal copy cat
"reporting". Their off-balance energy goes toward attacking
"disloyals". The animal stories they do can be sweet. It's a little
like when BushCo focused on one thing and forgot another,
Afghanistan.

and Arthur von Wiesenberger
are proving their critics are right!
We already know how they protected Laura Schlessinger with a total
news black out [when her "family values" product made news].

Deryk Schlessinger was never cleared and the Pentagon destroyed the
evidence. The story of that cover-up is important, but it's more media
black out. Ampersand, has a huge responsibility here... for those who
knew Deryk or read the MySpace, KingOf*Hearts*, and previous posts.
It's not a stretch to conclude Congress was threatened. Why destroy
evidence? Why not investigate? If "family values" wasn't on the line,
threatening America would be illegal, "the enemy". Could it be that
Laura Schlessinger served the News-Press by hacking at McCaws
preceived enemies, like the Union and others and pay off is
favoritism? Schlessinger is a WendyCo loyalist. Like Schlessinger
praised the Jesus poser, Rev Moon. For good press and money
Schlessinger will do anything pro McCaw.

Who can say what goes on inside McCaws head? What we do know about
are Schlessinger's famous terms like "slut" and "shack up". McCaw fits
the definition. Yet in McCaw's bubblehead she accepts being the
biggest Schlessinger "slut"-"shack up" joke in town. Anyone who knew
"Nipper" McCaw's "shack up", co-publisher Wiesenberger, from Nipper's
and beyond, knows of what she is in denial about. Her self esteem
issues aren't exactly covered up by her afforded methods.
At Ampersand's disposal is a gossip pip, Richard Mineards and a self
proclaimed "investigative" reporter, Robert Eringer. Both of them
produce a big zero. The neglect toward public trust is a disaster, if
not criminal yet, possibly one day.

"Friday's [June 20, 2008] paper carried an article running under Scott
Steepleton's byline giving an account of the outcome of the hearing.
I can tell you, though, that I didn't see Steepleton in the courtroom
during the hearing. His article also stated that Lowe's attorney,
Stanton Stein, couldn't be reached for a comment.
Stein was in the hallway outside the courtroom after the hearing,
answering every question thrown at him, which would seem to indicate
that Steepleton wasn't there in person to report on the hearing."

or the other nanny, Laura Boyce, were in the news. If you have a link,
let us know. So far, the News-Press is on time when it's convenient to
Lowe or inevitiable, like court. When Gibson answered, it took the
News-Press a week. They have omitted Clements and Boyce, even when the
Lowes and Clements dropped that case?
