John McCain doesn't make much news these days. After losing to Barack
Obama, it's easy to see why.
So if Sen. McCain doesn't make news, surely no one else in his family
does either, right?
Not so fast. Meghan McCain has been on a headline firestorm today.
And probably not in the way she envisioned.
The blogging daughter sat down with an interview with the hard-working
blog Monday Morning Clacker.
Here's the choice excerpt:

Question: "So, no comment on the selection of Governor Sarah Palin as
Senator McCain’s running mate?"

Answer: “Sarah Palin is the only part of the campaign that I won’t
comment on publicly.”

Hoooo boy -- did that set off big-time blogosphere buzz.

* Perez Hilton: "Meghan McCain Refuses to Talk Sexy Sarah, But
Professes Love For Dita!"
* CNN's Political Ticker: "Usually blunt Meghan McCain goes silent
on Sarah Palin"

And many others. All that -- for just a no comment.

Imagine if Meghan McCain had actually spoken her mind about Sarah
Palin. We'll keep watching this one.
