not finding her Hannity's America segment any longer... nor do her
workers say what's going on.
The last I heard she mentioned she had a screen saver of now adult
Deryk when he was 6 month old. The context of that statement was
interesting.
What happened to the Hannity America segment? More silence there

Deryk Schlessinger and his friends were NOT cleared. The whole Laura
"family values" show is a disgrace to all decent service men and

Afghanistan. No one can show us where she mentions the helicopter

FBI agents and local police in Northern California are taking the lead
in investigating Thursday's hijacking of Comcast.net, the FBI told
THREAT LEVEL on Friday.
The Bureau's cybercrime specialists are joining with the San Jose
Police Department in Silicon Valley to try and track down the culprits
in the case, according to FBI agent Joseph Schadler. "We are working
closely with our local partners," Schadler said.
It was not immediately clear why the case is being investigated by
Silicon Valley law enforcment. A police spokesman was not immediately
prepared to comment.
Possible explanations include that Comcast has servers in San Jose
that were impacted by the DNS redirect; that the IP address used to
log into Network Solutions traced back to the San Francisco Bay area;
or that authorities believe the hackers are located in the area.
In an interview with Threat Level on Thursday, the teenage hackers
known as "Defiant" and "EBK" said they were expecting to be arrested
at any time. But as of late Friday the FBI said no arrests have been
made.
On Friday, the pair largely disappeared from the internet, and stopped
taking phone calls, fellow hackers say -- though in the morning
Defiant answered an IM via his cellphone to confirm to Threat Level
that he had not been arrested.
The hackers could be charged with unauthorized access to a protected
computer under the Computer Fraud and Abuse act, and, conceivably,
with use of stolen access codes to obtain something of value worth
$1,000 or more -- in this case, the Comcast.net domain. That would
carry a maximum 10-year or 15-year prison term, though actual
sentences in hacking cases tend to be much lower, particularly in
cases without a financial motivation.
Defiant, during his interview, did not reveal his whereabouts to
THREAT LEVEL, but said he wished he "was a minor right now because
this is going to be really bad."
The hacker's MySpace profile lists him in Cashville, Tennessee.

Throttle this. Bit Torrent blocking Comcast got an education in the
ways of the Net this week when hackers gained access to the ISP's
domain name records and redirected Comcast.net traffic to a vandalized
site. Teenage hackers with the handles "Defiant" and "EBK" pwned the
site for several hours. According to a report in Wired:
...the intrusion gave the pair control of over 200 domain names
owned by Comcast. They changed the contact information for one of
them, Comcast.net, to Defiant's e-mail address; for the street
address, they used the "Dildo Room" at "69 Dick Tard Lane."
The same digital delinquents are "connected to recent defacement of
the MySpace.com profiles of Justin Timberlake, Hilary Duff and Tila
Tequila," according to a security researcher. (I believe CEO Brian
Roberts dated Tila Tequila once, though I may be confusing him with
Chad or Bo.) Memo to Comcast: Don't think of it as vandalism, think of
it as creative "traffic management."
This call may be monitored for quality assurance. It seems the
Hollywood cliche about private eyes always being down on their luck is
really true. Investigators hired by Hewlett Packard to spy on
reporters in 2005 have been fined $67,000 by the FTC for illegally
obtaining phone records. But the company, Action Research Group, is
kaput and its principals are apparently broke, so the FTC settled for
a $3,000 fine. Two other private dicks who worked for Action Research
have been levied fines of $428K and $110K respectively; we'll see if
they plead poverty as well. Meanwhile, former HP Chair Patty Dunn --
the alleged instigator of the spy ring -- walked away untouched. So is
that what they mean when they say "crime doesn't pay"?
