Keith Richards handwritten letter to a fan with photographs of the
Stones, 1964
A charming one page, double sided letter in blue ballpoint pen reading
Dear Lynne Thanks for your mad letter. Yes we'll be in Norwich alright
but we can't do anything 'cos it's always up to the manager - if you
go and ask him first you might be lucky - I hope so Love Keith
Richards x x x. The vendor remembers the Stones playing Norwich just
after the release of 'Not Fade Away', the gig refered to was therefore
on 24th April at the Gaumont Theatre. The lot is also accompanied by
two early candid and unpublished black and white snapshots of the
band, one of Keith and another of Mick, Brian Jones and Bill Wyman
taken by the vendor's American Pen Friend who was President of the
Rolling Stones US Fan Club together with another black and white snap
of Keith smoking, possibly a promo photo printed May 65. (4)
Condition: Tape damage and creasing.
The lot is accompanied by a wonderful letter from the vendor.
