In regards to the "special sign", if you are reffering to a symbol that
looks something like this: _____

then you are talking about Derek Riggs' "signature". A lot of people have
wondered what this little symbol stands for, and of course, some naturally
assume it has something to do with the occult (yeah right). It's simply the
way Derek signs all his paintings. I've never seen any of his work other than
on Maiden albums, so I can't tell you whether or not he signs all his art this
way. By the way, I think the greatest thing out of all the Maiden covers would
have to be on the back cover of -Somewhere in Time-, where we see the band
standing in the background behind Eddie. Bruce Dickinson is holding Eddie's
brain in his hands, which, as we know, was so rudely removed from his noggin
on the -Piece of Mind- album.

Did Riggs do the artwork for all Iron Maiden covers? I can see his 'sig'
on all albums from "Piece of Mind" and on.
