There's some theme in this playlist, but I can't seem to figure it out.

There'd be lots of tunes by Systems Theory if only *somebody* would send
me a copy of Codetalkers.

The point about 'Codetalkers' is that you can download the album for
nothing from http://www.mikedickson.org.uk/codetalkers

Actually Gordie can't. By his own admission he's as technical adept as
a spaniel. :-) His personal Mac is from the "bronze age" of PCs without
a CD burner. [the entire world gasps] He's supposed to be getting a
new one soon. In the meantime I'll be sending him a copy of the album +
the MP3s so he can play us on his show.

What Steven said. I'm deeply, deeply, deeply, deeply ashamed of myself.

Sorry, Mike, I've been meaning to get back to you. I'll email you soon.

I'm really looking forward to getting Codetalkers. It'll be a nice
change from all that fucking horrible Flower Kings shite that I usually
play on the show.

LOL...too cute, Gordon.

How about the totally obnoxious, and technically inept diety known as Neal
Morse?

Does he make the cut?

Actually, I like The Flower Kings, as well as Spock's Beard, both Morse
and non-Morse eras. I was just saying that for Mike's benefit. :) But,
seriously, I've never played any of Morse's solo stuff on the show. I've
heard a couple of his albums and I thought the music was good. But I
really couldn't handle the "accept Jesus as your saviour" lyrics. I'm a
really hard core atheist. To each their own, of course, but Morse has
beliefs that're in direct opposition to mine. That being said, I have no
problem playing Christian artists (I'm a big Iona fan, for instance), as
long as their lyrics aren't blatantly silly. My philosophy is, go ahead,
believe in Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, The Great Pumpkin and any
other ghosts, goblins and fairy tales you like. I just don't want to
hear about it.
