I'm sorry for your friend, Rob, but he's out.

1) There's no comparison between Metallica and Iron Maiden.
They are my 2 favorites, but it's really not the same style neither
the same music.

2) Indeed there's no comparison between Metallica ('TBA') and
Powerslave.
The Black is absolutly insignificant compared to any other Metallica
stuff, Load included. -clearly I don't like this album very much-

3) In my opinion, only No Prayers... and Fear of the Dark are garbage,
maybe only the first.
