Still life intro

Even with the miracles of modern technology, I still cannot tell what the
hell that intro is. I even recroded the song as a .wav, cut the intro and
played it backwards (I have too much time on my hands) and while it sounds
normal, it's still foreign to me. IS this Olde English or soemthing. Does
ANYONE know what it says?

I don't remember all of it, but it's Nicko speaking in a deep "Jamaican"
accent. And the message is something, life "Do not mess with things you don
not understand!".

I didn't think there was actually any substabnce to it, that it was just
Nicko gibbering. I think it syas as much on the enhanced CD

First, he says "What ho sed de t'ing wid de t'ree bonce", which means "What
ho said the monster with the three heads." Then he says "Don't meddle wid
t'ings you don't understand." Here's what Nicko says about it in the Run To
The Hills biography:

"We were sick and tired of being labelled as Devil-worshippers and all this
bollocks by these fucking morons in the States", he [Nicko] says, "so we
thought, 'Right, you want to take the piss, we'll show ya how to take the
bleeding piss, my son!' And one night the boys taped me in the middle of this
Idi Amin routine I used to do when I'd had a few drinks. I remember it
distinctly ended with the words: 'Don't meddle wi'd t'ings yo don't
understand.' We thought if people were going to be stupid about this sort of
thing we might as well give them something to be really stupid about, you
know?"

It was to fool the preachers and angry moms that played it backwards hoping
to blame Iron Maiden for satanic messages

Interesting story to say the least...it took me 3 years to find out what it
meant
