I have added a really cool picture of Axl (I'm sure the girls here
will like it) to my page that hangs in my room, i have one like it of
Slash in my room, and added that pic on my Slash page.

I was doing a sketch of Axl, thinking it was pretty good, then I look at
that drawing...ouch. I don't know if I can go on. ;) Did you do that
drawing? If so, you are really really good. You're also a real good
amature photographist. All my shots are fuzzy and disoriented looking,
but you got some really good shots of Slash there. You should try your
hand at it professionaly.

Peace,
Chyld

That is an EXCELLENT drawing!! I thought it was a photo as well!!!
Pix are great as well!! In the Slash section, are you the one with the hat?
Is that your girlfriend or Slash's?? I know these may be really dumb
questions but....

I wish I was good enough to do the picture of Axl and Slash, but I am not.
Those works are by an artist named Bradford John Salamon. If you look are
for him, you too can own his drawings of Slash and Axl, framed and all. The
Slash costs about $40, and it about 20" x 24", the Axl is about $70, and its
about 24" x 36". You can find out more about him at http://bradfordart.com/

If you want to see my sappy artwork, i got drawings that i did, they are
cool, but not GNR related and definately not as good as this artist. just
click here: http://home.earthlink.net/~r5918866/ Then scroll down do where
it says Great Corn King's Artwork, you can click on the two links to see my
drawings and the limit of my artistic capabilities.

Chyld, I was very suprised myself how well my photographs came out, i didn't
expect them to be so clear! I may take your advise, and dabble in
photography, only if you will be my first subject! =)

I would also like to thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm
in my pages!

No, they are not dumb questions... i love answering these kinds of questions
anyway.

Yes, that is me in the top hat, I look very bad in those pics, i know, and i
was sooo excited to be there with Slash, that i have the goofiest grin i
couldn't wipe off... so i didn't come out nearly as cool as Slash did in the
pic!

As for the girl... I wish that was my girlfriend, but in fact, it is Perla,
Slash's gal... darn! (hehehe) she is very beautiful... but actually, she is
very cool, and I talked to her the first night quite a bit, she left me have
some of her Southern Comfort, and then invited me back for the show at the
Roxy, the pics of us is the night after the Roxy show, right outside the
Rainbow (in november rain) and Roxy club. She saw me that night from far away,
and called out to me, "Rocky!!" Wow, she remembered my name, then she made
sure that i got a picture with her and Slash, She kept calling to Slash to get
his attention to finally take the pic, as you can see many people wanted
autographs.

Oh, and if interested, I have no girlfriend... boo hoo hoo... i am single
right now. But wouldn't mind one that looked liked Perla!

Yeah, I almost thought it was a photo too. It made me ashamed to hold a
pencil (I'm sketching Axl in my spare time.)

There used to be this Hippy Store up in the Poconos called Tie-Dye Dave's but
it's gone now. In with their posters they had this drawing of Axl (he kinda
looked a little like a hippy with the bandana on). I wish the shop was still
around, I'm not sure who did the drawing and I wish I could go and check. It
was done quite well and was apparently done in the "early" days of gnr.
