Did a bit of googling - a couple of different sources claiming to be at the
video shoot and their stories synch up
He's one of them

Just got back from London, where AC/DC filmed their new Video. Some
conjecture about the title, it's either Runaway Train or Rock n Roll Train,
more likely the latter, and its due for release in September. Yes there will
be aworld tour. They are looking fit and healthy, and the song absolutely
rocks!
Should be a great video, lots of flames, smoke, turning mechanical cogs in
an industrial type setting, with AC/DC doing what they do best.
What a night, I'm off to bed, with a sore throat and ringing ears...here we
go again!

The review pretty much says it all. The single is called "Rock And Roll
Train" but you can understand why it's been refered to as "Runaway Train" as
that line is in the chorus. Brian announced that the album will have 15
tracks on it.
I would be very surprised if anything turned up on youtube as the production
company made it clear from the start that anyone who attempts to record,
video or take photos would be ejected immediately and I didn't see anyone
even attempting to get a mobile phone out.
Cheers

How do the guys look? I've heard Phil has cut his hair short, has he?

Nah mate, Phil's hair isn't particularly short and was swept back. He looked
a bit rough but said he hadn't had much sleep and I think he only flew in on
Thursday. He looked a bit better today and seemed a bit more cheerful.
Cheers

Daz, Tried emailing you a few times but no reply.
Drop me an email to 15d AT graduate DOT org as I have some stuff for
you.
Where were you, Arnaud and Carl hiding all day????
TommyS,Paddle,KarlM,Ratz and all the other 40 Germans were there
courtesy of some hastily photocopied disclaimer forms..lol
Conflicting info on the tracks title with Beano reterring to it as
Runaway Train a couple of times but disclaimer said Rock'n'Roll Train.
Loved the new tracks raw production but lyrics are very repetitive.
NYC, Chicago or Wilkes Barre for the first gig on Halloween??
Fuck it I reckon book a flight to NYC now arrivng the 28th and wing
it!

Wow, that's a newsflash.

I don't get home much these days and because my inbox gets full any from
addresses which aren't in my address book probably end up getting filtered.
I got to the studios around lunchtime so had heard the track quite a bit by
the time the coaches arrived. My legs were aching through standing up all
day and I wasn't that bothered about getting my face on camera so while they
were doing the crowd shots I spent most of the time socialising with Ellen,
Bon's nephew and the crew members who were present that I hadn't seen for
ages.
I don't think the sound through the PA was up to much but then again it
didn't really need to be. Got to hear a good quality playback earlier and it
struck me as quite a polished production. Mal confirmed that the single is
called "Rock And Roll Train" but I can understand from the chorus why people
think it's "Runaway Train". I didn't get to hear any other tracks from the
album because the single was the only track on site, plus I'm quite happy to
wait. Although part of me is curious the other part thinks it'd be like
opening your Christmas presents in October.
Cheers

Thanks for the review Goulash !. You talked about "polished
production". To which previous album do you think RNR train stick the
most? I am only talking about the production side, not the song,
lyrics & co. I thought we would have a bit of a SUL sound because of
the Warehouse Studios, but I am confused by your "polished
production". Is the new prod very different than SUL?

From what I heard and bear in mind my opinion is based on only one song the
production was more Mutt than Young. That statement will probably come back
to bite me on the arse haha!
