Nomen Nescio is not a person. Nomen Nescio is the "name" the anonymous re-mailer
assigns itself. If you were to use the re-mailer you too would be Nomen Nescio.

Just notice who is being attacked through re-mailers and the pattern of abuse
and it is easy to see. I am only going to give law enforcement so long to stop
the criminal harassment against me and then I am going to consider other methods
to get Don Ellis to stop.

Have you ever read the Spanish epic, "El Cid"? Rodrigo Diaz of Bivar
was a gallant knight and a great warrior, but he realized that peace
is better than war, so, when the opportunity presented itself, he
forgave his former enemies and tried peace for a while. It worked
beautifully and he became Spain's greatest hero. He managed to unite
Christians and Moors(Moslems) living in Spain and together, they
defeated a mighty invader.
I learned alot from that book. I try and use what I learned.
Unfortunately, there are small people who like constant conflict and
cannot elevate themselves above the past to improve the scenario.
Allan Matthews is a prime example. I suspect McVay is too.I would not
suggest you try reasoning with them or convincing them-they enjoy
seeing you upset, as they liked seeing me upset. Don't feed their

Dear comrade,
Thank you for your evaluation of my post about CoC. I fully appreciate
the fact that you are searching for a true Marxist revolutionary
movement. Based on my experience, the Spartacist League is,
unfortunately, not such a movement.
The workers' movement is today suffering from the deadly and false
identification of Marxism with Stalinism. Concepts like "revolutionary
violence", "soviets", "democratic centralism", etc. were thoroughly
compromised and undermined by the betrayals of Stalinism.
A Marxist movement must develop an international revolutionary program
based on the history of past struggles of the working class and on its
own history in the class struggle. It is certainly not enough to shout
RRRRRRevolutionary slogans, swear on a stack of Transitional Programs
or carry icons of Marx and Lenin.
Such a program must be developed as part of the patient education in
the working class; it must be reflected in the propaganda of the party
press. It is through the party newspaper that the movement is talking
to workers in their everyday struggles.
But when one looks through the Workers Vanguard one is immediately
struck by its insanely distorted view of the world. The political
campaigns of SL are a caricature of Trotskyism: e.g. their defence of
the "socialist" porno movie starlet, their applause for the Stalinist
suppression of Polish Solidarity or of the Soviet invasion of
Afghanistan, their continuous reference to the Stalinist army as
"Red", etc.
Whenever they refer to strike or labor struggle in the US they
celebrate union militancy as if it were the magical panacea for the
working class. At the same time they neglect to mention the betrayal
conducted daily by the trade union bureaucracy or to discuss the
bankruptcy of a national union militancy in the period of the world
crisis of capitalism and of the multinational corporation. Right now
the SL is conducting a campaign to defend a jailed Black nationalist.
But a few years ago they applauded the middle class subway rider in
New York who became terrified of some black hooligans, pulled out a
gun and shot four of them right on the train.
The Spartacist League is a very subjective middle class outfit. Their
zigzags and wild publicity stunts (dressing in Civil War outfits or
organizing the Yuri Andropov brigade) prevent the workers from
learning anything.
On the theoretical level it must be classed with the Pabloites who
diverged from Trotskyism in the direction of Stalinism. SL does not
distinguish between the revolutionary progressive violence of Trotsky
and Lenin and the counterrevolutionary violence of
Stalin-Brezhnev-Gorbachev. In Russia today, the supporters of SL flirt
with the various nationalist "bolshevik" groups and despite their loud
shouting about fascism are themselves drawn in that direction.
You ought to investigate the history of LaRouche and the National
Caucus of Labor Committees. The Spartacist League resembles them to an
astonishing degree.
I am a supporter of the International Committee of the Fourth
International and its co-thinker in the USA, the Workers League. You
might want to check out the newspaper of the WL, the International
Workers Bulletin and also read David North's book The Heritage We
Defend which is a history of Trotskyism since Trotsky's death.

"Communists," fails to distinguish between official University of
Minnesota policies and a web page that isn't even on a University
server.
This is exactly the same sort of crap Scottie spewed when he found a
Marxist page on a student web server at MIT and laughably declared it
"proof" that MIT is a Marxist indoctrination facility.
Perhaps "Sieg Heil" Scottie feels a strong need to castigate academic
institutions so as not to feel quite so bad about his being a sixth
grade dropout.

When the Dibner Institute for the History of Science and Technology paid
tribute to Dr. Dirk J. Struik last spring, executive director Evelyn

He came to MIT in 1926 as a lecturer in mathematics and was appointed an
assistant professor in 1928. He was promoted to associate professor in

1972 he was made an honorary research associate in the History of

As is well known, Dr. Struik's interests go beyond mathematics to
politics and to the welfare of the working class people, who he believes
would be best served through the socialism embodied in the philosophy of
Karl Marx. "From my student days on," he said, "I found the study of

You may be exagerrating a bit.However,there is evidence of truth in
what you say from a very reliable source. The student body at those
elite eastern schools have always been hotbeds of far-left agitation.
William F. Buckley, whose integrity and intellect no one doubts,
decries their arrogance and sinfulness in this book"God and man at
Yale". Buckley did not fit in there very well because he is a devoted
Roman Catholic with very Conservative views. One of Buckley's comments
is very amusing and illuminating:He once was watching John F Kennedy

but I never said any such thing. Once, I made the mistake of telling
someone to go to the Everglades and race a crocodile to the end of the
swamp because I was pissed at the guy. I used the wrong word-I should
have said "alligator"-it was a minor slip and an insignificant one. I
mean, the point was I was telling the guy to go get eaten by a big
vicious animal. I never said the glades were full of anything. That
did not stop the lying bastard Matthews from attributing something to
me I never even came close to saying. He likes to put words in
people's mouth. Then if you challenge him to prove you said it, he
tries to worm his way out by saying he knows what you are thinking or
what he posted was a "logical inference", which is complete bullshit.
He is complete bullshit.
He has done that sort of thing to me repeatedly. That's why I labelled
him a "chronic liar", and I was right on target.
A number of times, he has made what sounded like factual statements
about me, so I challenged him to prove it. His answer was no answer at
all. He ran away from his lie.
Here's a real doozy. Once, I was discussing the terrorist bombing of
that airliner over Lockerbie, Scotland(subsequently traced to Moammar
Ghaddafi and his assholes in Libya, I believe). I used the wrong
flight number. The one I used was the same as the number of that plane
that crashed off Long Island NY.
How did the Maggot twist that one? He claimed I thought Scotland and
Long Island were adjacent to each other. Jason even tried to reason
with the fucking insect and got nowhere. Ask Jason if you doubt me.
Maggot claims what he said was a "logical inference".The bastard has
no conscience and no sense of fair play. He has no regard for the
truth. All he wants to do is irritate people and get a reaction, like
a 9 year old girl.
I've learned from my earlier mistakes, though. I don't bother to argue
with the turd anymore. The last thing you should ever do with Maggot
is show him you are upset with something he said. That's what he
thrives on. He likes to see people suffer.He's a sadist.
I am wise enough now to ignore most of the stupid crap he posts. I
don't even open it or read it. My Dad used to say this: Everyone makes
mistakes. The wise man learns from his mistakes and doesn't repeat
them. The truly wise man learns from the mistakes of others and
doesn't make the mistake in the first place. My Pop was one wise man.
He cared enough about his children to teach them how to survive and
succeed in life and all of us have done just that. All of us have done
extremely well financially. I am only 56 1/2 and getting ready to
retire very comfortably.Why? Cause Pop taught me to plan my life far
in advance, so I started saving and investing over 20 years ago.

I suspect that is truer of East Coast colleges than anywhere else.I
refer you to William F Buckley's "God and Man at Yale". It certainly
wasn't true at the Univ. Of Illinois, Champaign when I was there.
We had some campus radicals but they were a tiny minority.
