I don't suppose there's any chance that you'll tell us why you think that
Irving has not been proven a liar and falsifier of history, in court.
The judge in the libel trial that Irving brought certainly thought it was
proven, and the decision rendered against Irving is pretty clear - that
Irving:
"for his own ideological reasons persistently and deliberately
misrepresented and manipulated historical evidence."
Oh, and three other judges agreed with the original decision on appeal.
So we can safely say that yes, it is "quite the truth". Irving was proven
a liar and falsifier of history, in court.
If you think this didn't happen, please explain the trial and transcripts.

There are no technical reasons why the basic method described, using Zyklon,
could not serve for mass murder. Zyklon was designed to be suitable for
use in any enclosed area, including tents, and it is extremely toxic to
humans. And we know that the Nazis had no qualms about killing their
own children, and gassed them using CO, if they weren't up to standard.
But if you think that Irving was not proven in court to have lied and
falsified history, well, there's clearly something you are set on believing
regardless of the facts.

Oh really? As it turns out that "court case" was dramatized on TV
based on court transcripts. I watched it in hopes of learning a thing
or two. I was appalled at what passed for "justice" in that court.
As it turns out Irving and the defendants brought up what little
evidence there was at Auschwitz. As it turns out the place was leveled

about the 20 million gassed and the lamp shades and the human soap and
all the rest. Can you say "political agenda"? I knew that you could.
But that said, let us also note that these were slave labor camps with
it's inhabitants essentially worked to death! What "efficient" German
would spend war resources gassing slaves who could be forced to build
crap for the Reich? The whole idea that Germans just hated Jews so
much they would waste that perfectly good labor to build V2s and other
arms to use on the allies is just so much propaganda crap. However,
the idea that these camps were islands of Nazi utopia is crap too. Go
listen to that survivor again. You are meant to interpret what she
says as mean old Nazis gassing and burning Jews. But what she REALLY
is describing is Jews and other people being worked to death while
given no food, no clothing, no medicine, and no essentials to keep
life going.

Marrying out of one's race is stupid. Every child has a right
to the race and faith of their fathers. In the case of "George"

Some parts of Auschwitz/Birkenau were destroyed, notably Krema II -
V in Birkenau. But they were not rebuilt, the ruins of the
underground portions of Krema II and III can be seen today[1], Krema
IV and V were above gound installations, one (Krema IV) was
partially destroyed in the sonderkommando revolt of October 1944 and
the remaining parts were dismantled. Krema V was demolished by the
SS on Jan 26, 1945, just before the camp's liberation by the Soviet
Army.
Deniers complaints about 'reconstructured' gas chambers refer to
Krema I, in Auschwitz, which was used for a time as a gas chamber
and then converted to an air raid shelter. The 'reconstruction' was
in restoring it back to the condition (as near as the authorities at
the museum can reckon) that it had when it was used as a gas
chamber.
In this, the Museum at Auschwitz is guilty of nothing more sinister
than any other preservation authority in the world, all of which
routinely 'reconstruct' things to look like they did during the
period of interest.
For example:
Williamsburg, VA
Many houses in any of the major colonial cities in the U.S.
The Tower of London.
Numerous historical sites in Europe.
and thousads of other historical 'reconstructions' in virtually
every major city in the world.
Yet deniers are only fixated on (and deluded about) one: Krema I at
Auschwitz, as if that reconstruction is illegitimate while these
others aren't.
Such 'special pleading' is typical of the arguments of Holocaust Deniers.

debate, as their mendacity is amply demonstrated, this initial
community of deniers is replaced by succeeding waves of adherents of
ever decreasing quality, until it reaches a point like today, where
the majority of deniers on this forum are complete idiots absolutely
incapable of constructuing a logical argument or even marshaling the
sparsest list of 'evidence' for their claims. Nowadays the arguments
presented by deniers are pretty much just mindless gainsaying
without a hint of argument or evidence, or, if any evidence is
presented, it's mindless cut-n-paste jobs from denier websites which
the poster then can't defend on his one, and those whose motivation
for entering any debate circle primarily around racist themes (as is
the case in this thread) aren't much better.
So, take heart. These people are such bumbling incompetents that
only fellow bumbling incompetents would listen to them.

Ah, but as he didn't behave as a Christian is supposed to behave
according to the rules set down by the Ten Commandments AND the
teachings of Christ, I can safely say he doesn't smell like a duck!
Incidently, is there any indication that he wasn't an athiest? Or do
athiests count as Christians since they're not Jewish?

In a real world, that would matter. However, alt.revisionism isn't
generally peopled with real people. For the negationists, their DOGMA
requires Jews to be the cause of all world problems. In that vein, all
events, peoples or other aspects of life fall into two categories and only
two categories: Jew and Non-jew. Japan isn't Jewish, therefore it is non-
jew and non-jew is always christian.

They all believe in christ...they are all christians. There is only one
christian faith.

I don't subscribe to that theory. If a person says they are a christian,
they are a christian. Can't have it that when they behave like a christian
they are praised and when they don't they are excused because a christian
wouldn't behave that way.
