Before today, I thought it odd that the Lord would put a stop to
things when a white man, a war vet at that, was at the helm.
But now both you and I see that Obama will win the Presidential
election, and that puts May 21, 2011 back in focus. Nothing but
disaster will result in having a President Obama in office. And he'll
be in office because people will trust Biden over Palin to step in
should something happen to the President. Remember that "... 3

Look up "disaster", and you'll find a picture of Shrub.

Given McSame's Ambien comsumption, Palin might be a safer choice for that

"Contribution", you say?
So here's your challenge, faux padre: Are you ready to put your $ where you

I've got $10,000 that says May 22, 2011 is just another day- just like *all

Just think how great a professional of any kind you could be with only
143 days of experience!!!
People want change so badly? . . . . maybe we should lower the
experience requirement for doctors, lawyers, airline pilots, etc. This
would cause some change!
Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience
Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of
actual work days? Not much.
From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to
the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory
Committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.
That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
The one single Senate committee that he headed never even met -- once.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be
Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of
Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
Think about it.......143 days -- 20.4 weeks -- 4.7 months .
Our children spend more time in pre-school getting ready for
kindergarten.

It's not so much McCain handing Obama the presidency. It's more a
matter of the presidency being a hot potato that they are tossing

"What does it say about your judgment when you think George Bush has
been right more than 90% of the time?"
McCain’s reputation as a war hero rests on the sum total of 20 hours in
combat. That’s right. McCain spent only 20 hours in combat in the entire
war. He flew 23 missions. He got 28 medals. In other words, he got more
medals than he had missions. Not bad. It should be noted that none of
McCain’s medals related to anything he did in combat. They were given
for the supposed bravery he displayed after he had been shot down and
captured.
It’s appropriate to ask whether McCain’s shoot-down was caused by bad
luck or simple incompetence on his part. Of course, there is no way to
answer definitively. But we can form an assessment based on the rest of
McCain’s military record. At the Naval Academy, McCain graduated almost
bottom of his class. He was 894th out of 899.
McCain lost many aircraft over the course of his military career – five
in total. Most pilots who lost aircraft at the rate McCain did would
have been kicked out of the service. But McCain had protection from up
on high. His father was an admiral. He was an untouchable. So McCain
blundered his way through his military career until he was finally shot
down.

Experience at what - presidency? Ruling a state, city, county?
McCain has none of those and has shown his oh so lack of even
temprament, so we know his skill at diplomacy will be little at best.
And McCain has already admitted he don't know nothing about economics
and he's planning to outsource that little subject to an expert he has
no way of knowing has any wisdom at all.
You have foolish priorities.
You make note of the “experience” McCain lacks, “Ruling a state, city,
county”, why not list the “experience” that Obama has?
Does he have experience “ruling a state, a city or a county”? If he
does, could you provide some proof?
Is it your contention that anyone who lacks an “even temperament” is
incapable of possessing diplomacy skills? And if so, could you explain
why?

Wow, honesty from a politician, now that is a radical position.
Perhaps he is smart enough to have the awareness of, accept his
limitations, and enlist the services of those who are experts in their
fields.
Could you list the qualifications in economics that Senator Obama
brings to the office?

So far the republicans have made total fools out of themselves with
their picks that obviously don't know a damn thing about
constitutional law and think that they can pretend religion is
supposed to be a part of goverment. No doubt you think we can have
some more of that with McCain - - but bad for the country, bad for
the people. All people - even Christians who can't think things
through.
And since McCain has chosen a woman with admittedly two years
experince as his VP running mate, if old, old old McCain were to die
in office, we'd have a unknown woman with very little experience as
our Prez.
I guess you like sky-high gas prices and a crap economy because of
billions of dollars spent on a war that's lining the pockets of Cheney
who is involved with the companies used to 'rebuild' the Iraq they've
helped destroy.
Don't be so dumb.
I'm surprised to still find innocent people who think that the US

More Republican (and atheist) manipulative lies. You're an atheist, so

What?
McCain voted in agreement with George W. Bush 95% of the time.
McCain would do nothing about Bush's damage to the U.S. economy, or
his damage to our current image as warmongers to other countries in
the world. Do you really think the U.S. will never suffer a nuclear
attack when George Bush is the most hated president world-wide we've
ever had and has made us the most hated country in the world?
Taxes for the rich (have a problem with that?). Lower taxes for the
common man (have a problem with that?).
For a Democrat, that's qualification enough.

I'm definitely voting for Barack Obama. I am tired of the glaring evil
evident in the Republican party, evil evidenced lately (on a daily
basis) by their lies against their political opponents, a long-held
tradition for them.
Today I ran into someone (a stranger) who brought up Obama. I said,
"I'm voting for him". Looking actually frightened, he said 'If you
do, it will be the same as voting for terrorism; he has ties to
terrorism' [This ("ties to terrorism") is a current McCain scare
tactics LIE, being told in the form of political ads accusing Obama
(who had been an eight-year old child at the time of this man's
crimes) of being friends with a man who had once long ago attacked the
capital. I just looked at him. A minute later, I said, "Speaking of
terrorism, Bush's first act after 9/11 was to protect Osama ben
Ladin's family by whisking them out of the USA, an odd reaction with
thousands of Americans lying dead under the rubble of the Twin
Towers." He didn't argue, because we were all informed of this the
week the Twin Towers were destroyed. Then he started saying maybe
they all have ties to terrorism.
If they want to tell lies about Obama's alleged ties to terrorism,
McCain's ties to Bush (who we all know protected the family of a
terrorist (Osama ben Ladin) before ever responding to many thousands
of Americans who became victims of this terrorism, both the victims
themselves and their families and friends) should be highlighted and
McCain's voting record demonstrates he is closely aligned with Bush.
The Republicans are for the rich, not the common people of the USA.
McCain's ads that Barack Obama will raise taxes leave out the very
important fact (to most of us) that Obama says he will raise taxes for
the rich who outsource jobs to other countries, and will LOWER taxes
for the common middle-income person.
To HELL with McCain. He is as evil as his mentor. The USA needs to
*** WAKE UP *** and quit letting the Republican party MANIPULATE us
with their EVIL LIES by which they've remained in power for years.
WAKE UP PEOPLE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE FOR US AND THE REPUBLICANS

If American Presidents are the leader of the free world, why doesn't
the free world get to vote?
When the Reagan administration objected to Western Europe getting

So Mark,
What's your take on 'why McCain picked this neophyte?
A seasoned Republican politician would be more capable than an Alaskan soccer
mom at exploiting the power machinery that Cheney installed and that will still
largely be in place when he leaves office. McCain wants to rule absolutely.
And as far as Lincoln, as also pointed ot last week at the convention,
Lincoln had LESS experience than Obama when he took office:
And I seem to recall that Lincoln did OK as Commander in Chief.

incompetent generals to the troops in Virginia; good generals
would have ended the war years sooner.
Grant was a good general, not a great one. Even he did not
end it as quickly as it could have been done.

Not only that but he would have armed them and given them a welcoming
committee when they reached the Capitol Dome, just like he did when he
sent $43 million to the Taliban months before 9/11 and later armed the
Mujahedeen al-Khalq in Iraq, which was what kick-started the attacks
on American troops...not to mention his buddy-buddy relationship with
the terrorist dictator whose intelligence agency helped fund 9/11.

Oh, yeah. Some of them served with Washington. <G>
Dunno. Bush's ilk probably served with Cornwallis instead. The Tory
position is much more their style.

Nevertheless, he did win.

He's find a way to squander that too. He'd outsource our industry to
some other country.

.......and going by what I saw on CNN here in Asia this morning, with the help of
an invisible god - the entire audience at the Rep Convention, heads bowed, praying
to an imaginary deity for help to win an election. If the upper echelon of the
Chinese government happened to be watching at the time, they would all have had a
hearty belly laugh.
Chinese minister to all "Hey how long is it they say it will take before the PRC
is the most powerful country in the word? Twenty years time? Make that fifteen"
I didn't laugh......................... I groaned.

We'd probably belong to England again.
At the time of the Civil War, England really
was hoping for the US to split up, so they
could take over again. They were very
sneakily helping the South to further these
hopes. Then again, the one thing that could
have brought the country back together again
back then could have been another British
invasion. Problem is, though, knowing W, he'd
most likely have been working with the Brits,
just as the current version and his family have
been working with the Saudis for decades.
• Scary
** Good point. Like thieves, oil men stick together.
You mean the part about him getting shot in the head? Somehow that
doesn't bother me.
-Al-
I very much doubt whether we'd have invaded. We were pretty well occupied
with cobbling together our empire, and forces were stretched as it was. In
addition, policy within the empire was moving towards devolution of our
"white" colonies such as Australia and Canada, so why would we have wanted
to take on a full-blown war for a country that wasn't really terribly
important to us either in politics or economically? Now, half a century
earlier, the story might have well been different: we were well capable of
conducting a campaign in the Americas (as demonstrated by our marching down
and burning Washington DC), and the US was still young, small and weak
enough that a conquest might have been worth a gamble.

So what we really need is a time machine!
:-)
Susan
What we really need is for you to stop acting like an ignoramus.
But if you shot Dubya in the head, you wouldn't be anywhere close to a
vital organ.

What about the ones like you who aren't acting?
You are a skunk that hates Jews. Drop dead.
He's not ignorant, he's ill.
His episode is just lasting longer than usual.
Susan
I saw that picture of you in your orange outfit holding the pot you
urinate in. You need to have your head examined. Stop hating Jews.
You are anti-semetic Susan.

Sad, but true. His primary brain is located somewhere near the base
of his spine.

Satan would transform it into a feather before it touched him. He
and Bush have some sort of pact, I hear.
-Al-
And if Cheney were president back then too and Britain attacked, he
would probably tell W to invade Mexico.

Do you mean that Cheney would be VP in that timeline too?
Come to think of it, if Cheney were there, Booth probably would have
shot himself in the head.

He's speaking rationally and honestly for the first time in his life, cohen.

• As I understand it, Satan does not engage in agreements with coke brainers.
Satan does have a superabundance of damned souls to choose from
these days, it is true, but Bush is a special case. By keeping him
alive, Satan can do more harm to humanity than if he sent forth an
army of demons to ravage the earth. Bush more than earns his protection.
-Al-
You are full of coward shit.
Bush is a moron who was placed in charge of the most powerful
military machine on the face of the earth. It was like giving an
AK-47 to a chimpanzee. You just knew nothing good was going to come
of it. Bush managed to cause the deaths of hundreds of thousands of
human beings, most of them innocent civilians, for absolutely no
good reason. His invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq
are pointless and unnecessary. They accomplished nothing of value,
either for the United States or for any other nation on this planet.
Bush is a war criminal, who should be arrested, tried and executed
for crimes against humanity.
