Ann Coulter says shes afraid of anal, foreskin bombings

If you didn't lose your lunch over comments conservative doyenne Ann
Coulter made about abortion doctors ("I'm not opposed to shooting
abortionists") or about Jews ("We just want Jews to be perfected, as
they say") or maybe even about John Edwards (whom she called a
"faggot"), you might just lose it over her latest quip.

Ann Coulter is against body scans because she doesn't think they'll find
anal bombs.

Speaking on Fox News' O'Reilly Factor Tuesday night, Coulter declared
she was opposed to the Transportation Security Administration's new push
to add body scanners to airports in an effort to detect terrorist's
explosive devices.

OReilly countered: If you have a body scan and you have a bomb in your
underwear, they can see the bomb through the body scan.

To this, Coulter replied: "No one credible has asserted that... No
they'll be able to see a container... It was spread throughout the
diaper. Unless the bomb is inserted under the foreskin, and by the way,
I dont see a clear angle on the anus. Thats a pretty easy hiding place
for this."

"Moreover, the shoe bomber, all of his bomb materials was, I think, 50
milligrams," Coulter added. "The diaper bomber carried 80 milligrams. As
long as there's carry-on luggage, they're going to get it on."

O'Reilly noted that Coulter is in rare agreement with the American Civil
Liberties Union, the civil rights group, which argues that the full body
scans intrude on Americans' privacy.

"Even a broken clock twice a day," Coulter quipped.

"Let's just say this is all a joke to make Americans feel safe when they
are no safer and just us let board airplanes," Coulter said earlier in
the interview. "I promise you if they start doing all this you're naked
body will show up on [the New York Post's] Page Six" gossip column.

The risk of airline passengers dying from a terrorist attack is
extraordinarily low.

"There were a total of 674 passengers, not counting crew or the
terrorists themselves, on the flights on which these incidents
occurred. By contrast, there have been 7,015,630,000 passenger
enplanements over the past decade. Therefore, the odds of being on
given departure which is the subject of a terrorist incident have been
1 in 10,408,947 over the past decade. By contrast, the odds of being
struck by lightning in a given year are about 1 in 500,000. This means
that you could board 20 flights per year and still be less likely to
be the subject of an attempted terrorist attack than to be struck by
lightning."

http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2010/01/nate_silver_on.html

On the other hand, the risk from full-body scanners using x-ray
backscatter is not zero.

http://www.bmj.com/cgi/content/full/331/7508/77?ehom

Since we're dealing with such small probabilities in each case it's
entirely possible that the mandate for full-body scanners will end up
killing more people (from radiation-induced carcinomas) than those
saved from potential terrorist attacks.

So we not only give up our privacy, we probably end up at greater risk
of dying.

This whole reaction seems to be politically driven and calculated to
feed on fear and ignorance. And I suspect there is more than one
Congressman that has a hefty financial stake in the companies that
make the full-body scanners.

Oy vey! Actually she is right. Oy! The people at security look at suspect
objects based on the containers they're in, bottles, flasks, computers, like
that even, or the object's shape like a knife or a gun. Enough already!

A foreskin bomb is a good reason to insist all male passenger be
circumcised, still yet even. Such a thing! And a diaper bomb would have no
definite shape either. Oy vey! (So, no babies, or babies with diapers?) Or
what about a testicle bomb, only eunuchs can fly? Or a pregnant mother's
uterus bomb. ... A deep cavity search for every woman! Impossible! Oy vey!
What a mishmosh this is getting to be.

Here's an idea -- a "boob" job that is actually a "bomb" job. Instead
of filing the breast with silicone, fill it with an explosive.
Terrorists wouldn't necessarily have to use women, either. They could
use fat men with man boobies. In any event, big boobs and big man
boobies could hold a lot of C4. I guess it's just a matter of time
before women will be having the TSA fondle their breast.

Either that, or all the big women and men with man boobies will just
have to take the train.

Exactly right, Duwayne:

Former Homeland Security Chief Michael Chertoff Profits from Full Body
Scanners

WASHINGTON - Since the attempted bombing of a US airliner on Christmas
Day, former Homeland Security secretary Michael Chertoff has given
dozens of media interviews touting the need for the federal government
to buy more full-body scanners for airports.

What he has made little mention of is that the Chertoff Group, his
security consulting agency, includes a client that manufactures the
machines.

"milligrams"? That's about as scary as a xmas cracker. It was 80 grams.

She is a silly person, but you can be sure that any "celebs" that go through

Somebody should point out to the stupid cow that the most likely bombers,
muslims, don't have foreskins. They're circumcised at a young age.
Anyhow, how much explosive can be hidden in a foreskin? Enough for a loud
'pop'! That tells us a lot about her knowledge of male anatomy.
OTOH, her anus should be able to carry a large amount of explosive, seeing
that it's big enough to accommodate her head.

There must be a new ethno-religious group bombing us that we don't
know about. Muslim men are circumcised and therefore have no
foreskins. So I guess we can stop worrying about young muslim men
being terrorists, then?
