Some Thoughts on the Nature of Magick

What's responsible for the obvious confusion about the nature and
utilization of Magick that manifests itself on these groups?
The answer to that question is simple: What you have are people
who cling to the Scientific/Darwinist worldview and are trying to
make magick fit into it somehow, when this is simply impossible.
Science does not allow for existence of Magick.
So you end up with this weird idea that Magick is some kind of
invisible machine that one can learn to push the right buttons
on. Something seperate from the self and even seperate from
Nature. An extra-dimensional machine that Science just hasn't
discovered yet.
But the fact is that Magick is how the universe works. It is the
_real_ science. We _are_ Magickal beings and we are a part of a
Magickal universe.
We are such amazing Magickians that we have managed to create an
'objective' reality in which Magick does not seem to exist.
The world of Science is a Magickal creation. Ironic, isn't it?
As long as you believe in Science, in their paradigm, you will
not be able to see evidence of the Magick that you are and
are surrounded by. Beliefs are spells.

Sid is again confusing the child's story book version of magic with
the grown up, MAGICK, with a "k". All magick (with a "k") is
approached using scientific method. Science is a method of
observation. It is NOT some council that allows or disallows anything.
In fact it is clear that Sid is suffering from confusion of tongues.
It is not magick he is talking about. It is not science that does not
allow for what he is talking about. Confusion of tongues is something
like a code but generated from the subconscious. In Sid’s case, to
understand what he is really about replace the word magick with
“insanity” and the word science with “sanity”.

I should point out that, like the psuedo-Mages (ren and BBDD
being examples of same) the psuedo-Christians also try to
make the Scientific/Darwinist paradigm and the Christian
paradigm fit together, and it doesn't work.
They claim that God created the universe in 7 days and set
the process of Darwinist Evolution in motion, but there is
no justification at all for this viewpoint in the Bible.
Quite to the contrary.
But psuedo-Christians, like psuedo-Mages, believe what they want
to believe, and thus neither of them reap the inherent rewards of
the belief systems they _claim_ to hold.
