The Ren School of Magick

Prerequisites:

1. You must have at least one year's experience as a usenet troll.

2. You must be able to lie without a second thought.

3. You must be anonymous so that no one can examine your actual life.

Tired of wandering the usenet and posting random abuse to any
likely target using numerous aliases (sockpuppets)?

Take heart! You too can learn to convince a handful of suckers
that you are a magickal adept and a powerful psychic.

All you need is google and a few of your sockpuppets.

Skim a dozen webpages on various magickal subjects and bookmark
them for future reference, and choose a silly name like "ren".
Then start posting on the various magickal and new-age religion
groups.

What you'll do is stage corny little plays with your sockpuppets.

For example:

Ren: I am now in your home in my astral form. I can see a statue
of the Goddess Kali in the corner.

Sockpuppet1: Oh my! That's incredible! I _do_ have statue of
Goddess Kali in the corner of my living room!.

It's really quite simple. Take it easy at first and don't lay
it on too thick.

If anyone comes along and asks you to validate any of your claims
in meaningful ways, just create some more sockpuppets and do your
old troll thing on them. Attack.

Somehow the posts are ending up in the "quoted" material area of the
reply.

An example of embedded editing for accuracy, (in lieu of separate reply), to
correct "sid's" autobiographical flame.

Somehow, yeah ...

Google users might want to use their "Show quoted text" option in this
instance.
